    In Article 12 in Universal Declaration of Human Rights treats privacy as a distinct human right. It tells that "No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks." Telling that privacy is part of the law which includes our human rights. Right to protect ourselves, family and our sexuallity of our own definition.

    Great video! It is important to understand the importance of privacy. I sometimes feel bullied into sharing more information than I would like to simply because there's no way to argue with the Terms & Conditions...

    I remember on October 30,2014 in Jamaica queens NY in the morning, I was falsely accuse of lewdness in the bathroom, and because of that I was band from the store. I don't think it's fair, because there's no proof that I did it. When I talked to a Police officer, the officer said that the store company has that right, and it's their policy. The security guard from the store told me, if I return I will get arrested, I just don't think it's fair. I miss that store, I wish they could give me another chance. So this is what's called a store policy violation.

      What about the other details of you that you provide in order to register or login to a particular website like an e-commerce site ! The details that we provide will be collected by the back end computers ( Servers ) .Such data will be sold to data brokering sites and with the help of data analysts they mine relevant data thus directing the keywords that we often use to advertising sites and they show various ads in our login pages without our consent.

    Can someone put it in a summary, because I need to do this homework overnight...
    1) How these issues differ and overlap
    2) How both are affected by the digital age
    3) How you can engage with companies and governments to protect and strengthen these rights.
    please help

    A good VPN is the best option to protect your data.

    • @ccmccm-io3cw
      @ccmccm-io3cw 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it's not, most VPNs relay on the big five's software, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Facebook, and Amazon, to run their services, and they also sell their data. Corporations don't need to know your location to manipulate you, and you often need to give away all your data to them to operate. And one last piece of information about VPNs, when ever they're asked to give away their server to the government they won't put up a fight, so the government still has you by the balls, and your relaying on just one company to secure data, instead of the big five.

      And here's a video to further dispute VPN claims:th-cam.com/video/6ohvf03NiIA/w-d-xo.html

      Actually the basic architecture of internet is never meant to be invisible but one can be anonymous for sometime but still you can be traced by the digital footprints that you leave behind during the internet surfing. Using VPNs use extra amount of your data as they use proxy chaining for masking your IP address for disguising your client request origin geolocation.
