I love learning about the processes and products and WHY you use them, their purposes etc. Great for me to know about this so when I move to Italy I will be able to speak intelligently with the contractor and his staff. It appears you are the project manager. Thank you for all the information.
At video time 6:13 the sky light shines a sharp light on the wall and leaves a shadow on the hall walls, dimly lit. On cloudy times even darker. There is glass that collects light, brightening every angle on the room, brilliantly. That sky light would have been more properly collecting light, making the most of every angle of sun. The clear and tinted glass defeats it's own purpose of illuminating. The channel wall leading from the ceiling to the glass could also be clad in a reflective mirrored glass or bright silvery foil. Mr Mengoli.
I think you should come over and join our team of designers 🤩🤩😄 I’m so proud of that skylight, back in the days when it was conceived or built, natural light was a very important aspect, electricity was introduced much later. Only a few of the glass are tinted, offering an amazing and gentle reflection on the walls. Cladding the stairwell with mirror, honestly I’m not sure 🙏⭐️
@@salentowithlove3314 Under the skylight glass is a small vertical wall, it's between the Roof and the ceiling, maybe 12 inches FROM THE CEILING to the Skylight. NOT the Ceiling. The wall of the hole cladded with reflected material, 🤌
Respectfully Mr Mengoli, I'm from New York City, there are hundred of thousands of Skylights in New York and other major cities, built in homes and factories, over a hundred years in America. Perhaps in the millions with skylights, with frosted glass and made with twisted wire, in the shape of octagons embedded in the glass to provent people from breaking in. There is also solar lighting, been around for years, a bubble circular glass on the roof that has a flexible tube, it's interior is shiny silvery that reflects light, no matter how you bend it, it lights up a room. Design starts with," Form follows Function". You removed its main function to light the whole room, for a gentle reflection on the wall. 🙏Ma done
Everything’s coming together beautifully Davide , what a treat to see 😍🫡

Amazing attention to detail, not just aesthetically but structurally. Is this home being restored for a specific buyer or to sell?
