i think some of them had been purchased already. there were 10 in the box, but now i think that 12 makes up a full case.

That only really works with factory sealed boxes. Otherwise people could buy some or swap from other boxes

yes i believe so. however, because there's no opening gimmick, i thought hmmm, are these new or are they really old and being re-released? i saw someone else unbox a couple and they said they're new, and someone in the comments said they loved them cuz they reminded them of the lol dolls at the beginning. if you find out they're not new, could you let me know? thanks so much!
