@@Talisman2 for $200 I think you’ll have an easier time finding a Seiko over a citizen but either are great, just depends if you want an automatic vs a solar powered watch. I’m not sure what fisol is, I assume you mean Fossil? If you mean Fossil then seiko and citizens are better than Fossil watches.

If you have the money why go buy a 200 dollar watch? Buying a Seiko doesnt mean you are smart. I own 3 Seiko's and no Rolex but that doesnt mean im smart or anything im just broke 😂
Why wear a Seiko when you can afford a Rolex? If you have money, the price makes no difference.

Personnally, I prefer the king turtle (Green dial for me) to a Willard. And with a jubilee bracelet from strapcode it is again better. But good selection.
Love the cocktail time houjou, wish I could find one for retail, all available are nearly double retail, because it was limited to 5,500 pieces

I’ve got my first seiko and first automatic watch to add to my collection the Seiko watch I got is the Seiko SRPK33K it’s beautiful watch my collection mainly contains quartz watches, or solar watches. It’s great to have an automatic in the mix and I’ve definitely got the Seiko bug I’m getting some more Seiko watches throughout this year. My next seiko watch I’m getting is the Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC813P Panda dial I absolutely love my watches. I love Seiko watches.

the willard for me is hella overrated. I would pick a turtle over it just imo. Regardless, both are seiko and great value.

Id personally swap #2 with the Seiko Prospex 1959 Alpinist. And the Seiko 5 shouldn't be on the list either. There are now better options in that price range. Id have put the Turtle.
None of them. I love the old seikos. My favorite is my Seiko Bell Matic 1969 (4005-7000) and my Seiko Turtle 1992 (7002-700A), but for everyday I wear my cheap and reliable beautiful Seiko Cronograph made in 2011 ( 8T63-00T0) I have 29 Seikos as of now, they just come and go, but some stay for ever.

Love my Willard....micro brand. You'd have to be insane to pay Seiko four times as much for a watch that 'still' sports a mineral crystal when you can buy a microbrand version with a Seiko NH automatic movement and sapphire crystal for a fraction of the price.
Some of the new ones have sapphire but yeah, they are no longer a great value. Still cool imo and there's something to be said about having the original
@@ChronometerCheck Yet unless you have a '70's original Seiko, you still just have a modern day replica. My microbrand is an honest reproduction, and if I threw a Seiko dial into it, no one who ever know but me. But since I have no issue wearing a replica (but I would with a counterfeit), I'm into mine for less than $100. That leaves a lot of coin available for additional watch bands.
@@Mike-In-O-TownSeiko doesn’t care what the Swiss are doing. They have a cult following for every mode and put most of their money into dial and finishing. Usually that leaves out, clasp, movement regulation, and QC. My experience is that it is best to get Seikos that are the top line (with zaratsu and undecorated GS movements) or the very cheap entry Seikos. Avoid the middle.
