Thanks, Brent! Going for bold autos on these already-gorgeous cards makes for a fun and challenging chase that’s taking me a while to assemble it the way I’m wanting it to be. It’s a really fun PC for me that paces well with my budget - ones that I want to pick up don’t come up too often, so I’ve saved up enough by then again! 😂 Thanks for watching and commenting, and hopefully you found my Diamond Kings part 1 video a few videos back!
Great question! I love the crystal clear CSG slabs, and would absolutely consider the new CGC/JSA combo. The clarity of the plastic compares with that of MagPros, which is very impressive to me. The holder itself doesn’t really matter to me. I collect cards, not slabs. I love my “Frankenstein” collection! I will submit my cards for authentication to whichever of the big three is cheapest / has a special going on. For these types of cards, I don’t really care as much about the condition of the card being graded - just as long as the auto is legit, bold, and preferably not obscuring the players face. Thanks for watching and for the great question!
Great showcase, I do enjoy the Diamond Kings but really only use them for TTM. I've never really searched them out before. Interesting to see how many of the players signed previously. Molitor does sign TTM so if you want to get his upgrade you can do so pretty easily. I second the Boggs comment, he does TTM for $10 but it is still crazy to me that it is so cheap
That’s great to know about Molitor! I already have the unsigned ‘92 DK card, so I’ll have to add that to my very first TTM pile (alongside Mike Mussina and Larry Walker!) Aaaand I MIGHT have to go ahead and go for Boggs too! $10 is a mind-bogglingly good price for a player as amazing as he was. Thanks for the feedback, Allen!
@HighPopProfessor hey, off topic but there was a 1986 Procards Maddux just listed. It is in a PSA holder but the card is a fake. The D's in Maddux are the clear sign
@@CollectingMaddux1987 Woah! I had just added that to my watch list! It’s scary when PSA gets it wrong 😱😱😱 Thanks for the heads up! Maybe you could do a video on how to tell fakes?? I know I (and I’m sure others!) would love to learn how to tell the fakes from the real deal.
@HighPopProfessor I go over it a little bit in the March 2024 Ebay sales episode but I think it might deserve a second episode. Probably the second most faked Maddux after the Desert Shield
Great showing Brian - beautiful cards! 👏
Thanks, Al!! It’s been so much fun putting this run together!
Love me some diamond kings! You take it to the next level with the autos!

@@HighPopProfessor no doubt! I’m just doing a run in PSA 9’s. Tough! But no autos
Great cards! Curious if you'll be using the CGC/JSA autograph authentication now that they are accepting cards? That CGC case is crystal clear.
