I was like "what the hell are they doing with that floppy wire, and when are the going to put the gun drill in there?". Then I realised that was the drill bit D: amazing you can get such a good result from such a relatively floppy drill bit :D
owners dad of company used to work for retrofited a burgmaster with pneumatics..used to drill h oles with gun drills up to 16 inches through..unfortuanatly when he passed away no one at company knew how to maintain it i was still a kid then early 20s
an old American machine 48 inch capacity cuts one groove at a time a cutter box it cuts a bit then indexes goes around multiple times it cut on the pull cycle

That CNC display is from another planet. The Z value is -200.000 Is that some version of metric? 6,000 RPM in titanium would burn up the drill bit & workpiece. What they are doing is all wrong however, I wish them luck.
Gun drilling is very different from milling my friend. It's like comparing Soldering and Brazing. To the untrained eye they look the same, but we know better then that don't we.
If you took a closer look you could have seen it said mm, so yeah, metric. Seeing as this was a demo video it's quite possible they only showed those setting as a demonstration, instead of actually using those setting for the actual drilling. But who knows, I'm not that knowledgeable on gun drilling.

the drill is hollow it cuts one side the drill has two high spots carbide insert silver soldered chrome molly tube with a groove rolled on one side the oil goes down the middle and follows the groove out its pressurised it feeds aprox 1/10000 per turn just shaving hope this helps cheers

It's not floppy when it's supported and clamped in 6 places, as shown in the video
It's what material for a drill position and feed rate
It would have been more interesting to hear the sounds of the machines running than that music.
