This video is awesome. I’m a new jazz guitar player and lately I’ve been going nuts with how to make the most out of my practice time as I started late. Cannot express enough how thankful I am for this video!
I've found that when life gets busier my practice leans more towards being project and goal based instead, either for a gig or for a video I'm working towards. But when there's more free time I can spend more time just practicing for the sake of general improvement for its own sake. Do you experience the same thing?
Great stuff. I'm somewhat allergic to regimented practice because I'm a natural, non-professional player. I usually only play something that I'll have a lot of fun with, but I understand that will only take me so far. If I ever muster up the discipline to make a schedule, this will be my first stop.
What brand, type and guage do you use on that guitar. I own the same guitar, bought it based on Ben's review. But I don't get the same sound. Are they Flatwoods or roundwound? Thank you.

Those are great observations, Mats - and yes, I've experienced the exact same thing.
