He made mistakes but his expression was out of this world! The positions of his head when he's doing all those graceful moves, and his body language in general. I think he was so focused on that, which cost him his technical concentration. In the Worlds weeks later, he was still beautiful but not as expressive as this, and his technical performance was perfect. This angle is the best! You could see the beauty of the choreography and the speed going into the jumps from one end to the other. Thank you!

Right after finishing he turned towards Orser and smiled like "I don't know what I did but I did" 😂 he just changed the layout after he popped the combo!!
Actually it's 4CC 2017. But just weeks later at the Worlds, he skated the best free skate ever in the history of figure skating. That's why he's so inspiring. He shows you even the GOAT has his 'bad' days (by that, I mean getting second place...Yuzuru's 'bad' is only a silver medal), and then...he rises and bursts like a supernova, and confounds and delights us.

この人が素晴らしいのは、この逆転勝利かと思われた大会を逸した後の一ヵ月半後、さらに劇的な逆転勝ちを世界選手権で演じたこと。並みの人間なら崩れるところだが、絶対的な自信があったのだろう。
一年後の五輪二度目の金メダルもうなずける。
語り継がれる演技。中盤4Sが抜けるミスが出たが、その後予定を変更して3Aを4Tに、3Luを3Aにして成功させて挽回した。終盤に高難度の4Tと3Aを成功させた羽生選手に万雷の拍手が送られた。
