In the starting of the movie, some part of the Mahabharata war are shown which are real.The Mahabharata War was a real war in our history and there was a character called Ashwathama which is played by Amitabh Bachchan. Ashwathama cursed by Lord Krishna to become Immortal until Lord Krishna come back again to Earth. Lord Krishna was also a Avtar of Lord Vishnu who was present in Mahabharat war, and he will come back again as Lord Kalki. But Ashwathama was not only charecter who was immortal.
