Excellent video from this station. Very nice to get two 70's in quick succession leaving the junction heading away from Felixstowe. Really must spend a day here and at Ipswich one day.
+HomeMoviePerson Thanks Hayden. The 70s are getting more common here now, especially as 16 of them are now allocated to intermodal traffic. Only 002-5 are left on the HeavyHaul.
Very nice, I liked the shot of 66759. What's the blue signal at the end of the platform for? I remember being told about it last year but can't remember its' purpose
+Greensleeves94 Thanks Brad. The signal is a SPAD (Signal Passed At Danger) indicator. There is a signal on the single-main just before the two lines run parallel, and if a train passes this at danger (SPAD) then the blue signal shows a double red aspect with "STOP" in the centre aspect. It's extra protection for the level crossing and the dock terminal branch.

Thanks for that, I've seen them around elsewhere on the network on some of the cab ride DVD's I've got and dad was asking what they were
Very good indeed. Dancing blocks rs well. Could either find it a bit of fun or bloody annoying. Cheers.
+SMILEVIDEOTRAINS Thanks Keith. That's my friend Shaun enjoying a bit of modern freight - he's a stalwart BR Blue fan.
