eh they added rotor blades too, which can change their angle of attack too, so putting control surfaces on servos is no longer necessary, did you happen to have missed this? because 1 week ago they were already there
@@marianandnorbert yup. Had missed it, though I caught it when reviewing patch notes. Even more prop/rotor blades got added with 1.8. pretty awesome time to love KSP.
What i like creating most is VTOL-Props. They're just so maneuverable and so safe to fly. I've send one to eve too, aswell as a jet-assisted helicopter to laythe!
You should make a tutorial for the dlc. I know it's been out for a while but nobody has a tutorial on it. Learning how to even use the throttle is confusing
I first got KSP because I saw the robotics mods with moving parts and loved it. Now with this DLC, within two days I’ve learned to make a walking mech with a jetpack. I love this game
Well... wow. Let me be the first to congratulate you. Really fantastic work. I love when really talented players like you show what's really possible with what's provided to us. I'll never reach your level (my mind just doesn't work that way. Lol) I do like playing at my speed and getting ideas from players like you. Keep making these videos and posting them. Thanks!
Woah! Thank you so much for your kind words! I have THOUSANDS of hours in this game so I'm pretty good at it, still though, I've got nothing on guys like Scott Manley and Matt Lowne. Most of my adventure happen in Kerbin's SOI, I'm not much of an interplanetary explorer. I'm sure KSP2 will change that for me. Anyways, thanks so much for swinging by the channel and watching my video! Hope it inspired an idea of your own!
Hi, I have been troubled with the wobble of robotic parts. Example the folding plane you made would complementy rip-off my hinge of the plane. Is there any trick to it? Thanks
Played this for years, only to have robotics fail on me. Have a rotation servo on my wheels, test it on kerbal, take it to eve or somewhere else. It will work for a while then the servo works but the wheel does not move
@@ControlledPairsGaming i gotta toy with that thing. probably more complex. I made a system that drops a rover and picks it up out of my ssto. I like action groups cause I can toggle the wheels and lights on the same button too
@@hurpaderpp For that, probably not, but if you let’s say had a tall lander a rover near the top, you could use a robotic arm to grab it and bring it down, this would be a lot easier with the KAL controller. Or a walker, would be hell to make a lander with only action groups
I'm falling in love with KSP all over again thanks to the breaking ground robotic parts. What have you guys found them useful for?

JustYourAverageFluff I’ve done some on quads/helicopters/single prop planes
Johnny Builds KSP oh yeah I’ve watched a crazy amount of your vids. I rate them. Good work mate!
Assume it's a horizontal helicopter
You deserve more views. This is super cool.
I really appreciate that! Thank you.

No doubt one of the best of all time.
good to see my some of mods to robotics live in vanilla :)
The more I play this game the more addicting it gets. Lol
So true

I'm gonna buy a gaming laptop just for this game.
Worth it :)
You did it right?
Awesome job man!! I would never be able to think of these lol!! You got a future.

I have tried this idea but for some reason the wings wobble in flight. I’m not sure how to stop it, can someone come up with a solution?
Great one, just bought ksp on steam ,very helpful
And here I am making bipedal robots
We all have our calling!
@@ControlledPairsGaming im waiting for KSP 2 to resume my Mech program and expand it for colony building
But how do I make the blades solid? They just flex up ridiculous amounts and don't really have much structural integrity
Use the stock propellers or rotor blades rather than the control surfaces that I used. play with rigid attachment and auto strut as well.
Thanks. Didn’t know what to do.
Hope you found some inspiration!
my man using the youtube premiere music, ngl its pretty chill
I don't think premieres had music back then.
@@ControlledPairsGaming woa this video is 3 years old lol i didnt even notice

Wow, this a weird PS video. (Jk love the different videos!)
Thanks man! Waiting for the PS and HLL updates to drop and I'll be covering in depth!
Why oh why did they have to make this long awaited feature dlc only??
Perhaps they need the money to fund KSP2 development
Oh cmon it’s like 10 quid.
I always have trouble with parts wobbling so much with the movable parts
Yes. Inspiration

My man's used the TH-cam Premiere music
Lol idk if it was back then. I like to think they used mine.
"Only the most immersive tactical shooters"
Also KSP
@@ControlledPairsGaming Oh I though i was just playing the game wrong...
How do I build a robotic arm?
Needs to be shown built
I just made funky lil helicopters
I use them to make robotic arms to get parts out of my cargo and build a rocket in space
nice video
do you need to use the controller? ive just been using action groups
Depends on what you're trying to do

It sound,s like he said Minecraft on 2:28
Or if you're broke, just get the infernal robotics mod :D
Also true.
make an Apache that has functioning Hellfire missiles
Tall order
@@ControlledPairsGaming The Hellfires dont need to be guided
@@pepsidoggo1598 Uh... AGM114s in all variants are definitely laser guided.
ok
How about a TOW missile?
(You may use tweakscale as a final resort)
