  • I’m a die-hard GT fans. My first GT is an i-drive 4.0 full suspension frame. The first time I’ve heard about GT went to bankruptcy was in early 2000. Now, 20 years have passed, I still can recall several famous GT sponsored riders at that time, e.g. Brian Lopes, Alison Dunlop, Mike King, Nicolas Vouilloz, Hans Rey, Eric Carter, Roland Green, Juliana Furtado, etc…
Today I am going to show my recent collection, which is a Zaskar LE frame, it was built in 1997 according to the serial number shown on frame.
My plan was inspired by 26 inch BMX cruiser. I used a SE BMX handlebar, stem and fork, a retro Shimano 7 speed shifter and lever, a GT 8 speed rear derailleur and Shimano DX wheel set.
Although GT will liquidate its current inventory, "pause the brand" to focus on core strengths and refine its strategy for long-term growth. I still wish this legendary brand will resurrect and continue its glory.
