Hello there, my co-creator and I are creating a student documentary (high school) about Onondaga Lake and Murphy’s Island. Would you mind if we used a portion of this video in our project?
Honeywell dredged it capped the rest of it. But caps have already failed. No suppose to swim in it when it rains. Southern part is still heavily polluted only part supposedly safe to swim in is willow Bay. DEC says it is safe EPA says still needs more work to be safe to swim in. Got to agency's with conflicting information. Bottom line is Honeywell should clean whole lake not just half of the lake do it right it was way to quick. The lake is better give it that. Allied comical damaged the lake Honeywell bought Allied comical they should clean the whole dam lake and do it right way instead of half assed because there once who screwed it up.

I use to swim the outlet as a kid years ago! No ill effects and I’m 75.
