from what i've read on reviews (cause i intend to get this) alot of people complain about not being able to do turbo mode. but the ally doesn't stop you from doing it, just it doesn't do it by defualt once its plugged in. as for the issue of it popping off whenever you plug the power in, i don't really think thats a concern. this hub is useful for people who just want an extra port or two for storage and maybe a usb headset. its something you put on, and you plug it in sitting on the couch or on a plane and game.
The ability to use turbo mode would’ve been a nice touch. The popping of of the hub is not so much a huge issue, but sometimes, whether your lying down or even sitting up, it’s annoying when you in the middle of gaming or watching your favorite show etc it pops out. I only wished it had a little clip or something to make it a little more snug and if they would’ve put more type c ports instead of type a ports. The little flaws doesn’t stop me from using it though because it a nice simple hub 👍
Youll get 100 watt if you use a 100 watt charger. The original is only 65 watt. The hub is capable of passing up to a 100, it does not deliver it by its self, you need the charger.
