    I think it is truly exceptional the new Blade 17 with 165 watt tgp and 8 speakers. I just don't like matte displays. I really hope they offer an OLED 2K 240 HZ screen on the 17 inch also because I would buy that in an instant.

      Hi mate. Im also considering the 3070ti qhd. I have a feeling it's the sweet spot for gaming. I think the 4K + 3080ti will run much hotter. I'm still trying to decide between the Blade 17 and x17-R2. Have you had any technical issues with your unit? I'm worried about Razers process if something should need to be repaired or returned. In the past models Razer had some QC complaints. Dell probably has much better service and warranty. It's a shame because I prefer the look of the Blade 17 over the x17 R2.

    Not sure what you are talking about the when you say the 16 inch MacBook Pro has added reverb or sounds artificial.
    As a musician I can tell you the MacBook Pro speakers are substantially better than any other laptop I own.
    And are definitely better than the Scar or the Blade.

    • @consumertechwarehouse
      @consumertechwarehouse  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah they are absolutely better. But there’s still something artificial about the sound like there’s some type of post processing or effects. I mean they have to be doing something to get those small drivers to sound so grand.
      I’m a bit of a musician myself. I’ve been recording all of my introductions from scratch on keyboard and guitar and mixing them. Not saying these intros are Grammy worthy lol but I think I have a good ear for good and natural sound.
      regardless, I would always rather use headphones to mix tracks. I could have been a bit more clear that overall that the MacBook are still the best by far though.

      The scar with the 3070 ti if you're price conscious. The difference between the 15 and 17 is hard to answer. They both should perform the same. It's deciding between a larger screen with less portability than a 15 inch that you can carry around easier

  • @DamianPrzysiecki
    @DamianPrzysiecki 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi again ! Very nice video ! As maybe you remember im looking for 3080ti laptop, still :)
    As you have tested all models i am thinking about i got question:
    1. Which you would recommend from those ? MSI, Asus, Razer, or Alienware ? I believe u tezted x17 r2? Which GPU?
    2. As far as i know MSI doesnt have optimus or g-sync, Razer got G Sync and and Asus got advanced Optimus. Which display is best for gaming ? I want QHD 240hz. Could you notice lack of optimus/g sync on MSI?? This is my last problem with choice… i always had g sync and i dont know what can i expect. Was Asus display more „smooth” or sth like that?

    • @consumertechwarehouse
      @consumertechwarehouse  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So if you want QHD, the x17 is probably out. It comes in either 4k or 1080p. Plus the one I have is a 3070 ti version. The MSI ge series does have a mux switch so you can use dgpu. Honestly at 240hz you don’t dint really need gsync that much. The refresh rate is so fast that it looks smooth and doesn’t screen tear. I think the display on all of them are fairly equivalent and similar. I llhavent seen the QHD panel on the scar 17 yet but I would think that all 3 are similar. If you really really want gsync though, razer is your only option. But I promise you won’t be missing much by going with the scar 17 or ge76 without gsync

    • @DamianPrzysiecki
      @DamianPrzysiecki 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats interesting. As far as i know if you were using g sync for long time u will notice lack of it. Also i read that 240Hz display is fast ye and you will not notice any problem as far you can reach high FPS. But on lower FPS, like they said ~60fps even then without g sync you can notice that the game is not so smooth, and thats what i would like to know from you :) did u have any issue with MSI, which has none of the sync ? Any tearing or any feeling „that is not so smooth”? Cause for example Cyberpunk at 1440p high setting you resch abt ~65fps ye? And then the problems can appear.

    • @consumertechwarehouse
      @consumertechwarehouse  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well the screen is still refreshing at 240hz even if the game is running at 60hz so it still looks really smooth . I’ll do some testing on cyberpunk specifically when I can. But I remember playing red dead and it looked incredibly smooth. But I’ll follow up and let you know

    • @DamianPrzysiecki
      @DamianPrzysiecki 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks a lot :) try to check with high settings and just run with fast changing angle, i mean look fast right and immediately look fast left, do it bery quick and few times and check if u can see any kind of tearing or sth like that. As i was reading, on 240Hz no g sync monitor u can get some tearing or st least feeling that this is not so smooth cause it is fast moves on lower fps when the display tries to refresh it much faster. That would be a very nice if you can check that. Also, do you still have Asus ? Would be nice to compare it to Asus as well, cause it has Adaptive Sync and Advanced Optimus, which MSi doesnt.
      Last question, are u playing in some mmo games ? Like wow, overwatch or lol? It is also very important for me, cause i play this games and i am afraid to have any kind of tearing due to lack of g sync, cause that games are fast ones

    • @consumertechwarehouse
      @consumertechwarehouse  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I play tons of overwatch and I prefer to play on the ge76. I think ultimately if you’re concerned by not having gsync and you don’t mind paying the extra for the razer blade 17, go for it all 3 are amazing. Also the 2022 scar series doesn’t have advanced Optimus or gsync. Last year’s model had freesync but no mux switch so it wasn’t great for playing fast paced games
