Can you explain the mechanics behind the Capek cutscene skip in the MedLabs? When you lob two grenades near the elevator and teleport to the Caves entrance! I just played/beat the game two days ago for the first time, albeit the PS2 version, but I beat it twice more and got the PC version. That specifically, but all of it, is genuinely fascinating stuff. I thought I was cool skipping into the next section by manual save/loading in elevators just to see its a tactic 'for' speedrunning. (Manual since there's no QSave/QLoad on console version)

sure the grenade is the only projectile that can travel out of bounds so we throw it from the top of the level with a good angle to land at capek (we only need one but i throw 2 for safety) and when it explodes and "damages" capek in quotes since capek cannot be damaged outside his boss fight the cutscene is set to trigger and at the end of the cutscene your character is teleported to the area in front of capek hope this answers it all we have a great discord to ask these at over at discord.com/invite/factionfiles if you have anymore we have weekly multiplayer game nights and a speed running community
