if you strugle, make this a rule , read frequently a few pages EVERY night before bed , read a spalm or 2 in your breaks at work , read foremost the new covenant , its the " easier food " , when you have worries or bad thoughts try to make a habbit out of it "I know there is someone , JESUS is HIS name and HE is faithful and HE has everything under controll" , and the most important part is you have to try to be more and more like JESUS thats your goal , and dont think about the stuff you can do for GOD but thank GOD for all those things HE does for you .
I made ALL these mistakes alot , im not raised in a "christian home" 4 years ago HE revealed HIMSELF to me and i struggle to this day but HE never left me , and i always have HIM in my heart , and HE still teaches me , a process which never ends even Derek Prince said this alot "after 40 years there was still things which GOD showed me ".

I actually clicked on this to reinforce what I believe…so that I can condense it into shareable portions. I want to share Christ yet never know what to say. The Holy Spirit will help me to share relatable truths when speaking to someone.
My dear, Christ told us many will reject the truth. It is not us they reject but Christ in us. Let the love of Jesus shine in your life. Sharing our faith is done in so many ways. For some it is with teaching. For others preaching. And yet others it is a simple quiet spirit. A smile amidst chaos. A hope that shines. A nourishing meal. A simple helping hand. God uses us in the capacity of what we have. Let Him shine thru you. Don’t be afraid. Each day give thanks and ask God to use you in whatever capacity the day brings. Set me straight I'm right w God now because of this
I have been watching Derek Prince's preaching for some weeks now. He's been my fave preacher to listen to right now because he explains the Word of God biblically plain, clear and full of spirit. He wasn't as popular as the prosperity, abused-grace doctrine, false preachers who abounds nowadays in christiandom, because people's heart are not ready to accept God's Truth which Derek Prince taught. I thank God that he has recorded his inspiring teachings of Biblical Truths, which greatly make me mature spiritually.

Ladies, he was famous in the previous era. But those were times where internet has not existed. Only word of mouth, meeting in person and books. He was older and not as active compared to younger days when internet became a common part of our lives. Take note also, most preachers of the day has a team of people to work on social media. Not all; even those with just a handful of employees, works professionally. It is not wrong in doing so..as long as not a word is taken or added to the truth.
He was an awesome teacher and he did, in fact, teach on prosperity. He used the word abundance instead and wrote several articles on it.
Got to hear him and his wife at Grace Heritage School in Durham NC in 1986. Solid teaching period!!!
1. Keeping God's word distinguishes true disciples for the world.
2. Love, not fear is our motivation for obedience.
3. God's love for his disciples, who keep his word, is special.
4. Through God's word kept and obeyed, Christ manifests himself to us.
5. Through God's word, the Father and the son will indwelling in us.

That sermon on Baptism was Beautiful. I believe you are saved wether Baptized or not because Jesus told the thief on the cross, “today you will be with Me in Paradise”!
However, once you truly made a commitment to the Lord as your savior & only way to Eternity in Heaven, baptism is a SIGN of obedience & commitment to follow HIM

There is so much deception in the church, so many ungodly "ministries" and we are _drowning_ in "new age" infiltration.
Derek Prince was/is a "gift" from God too all of us -- just as we (Christians) are _also_ meant to be "gifts" to _one another_ as well. Instead, we are so horribly _divided._ I look forward to a time where there is no bickering, arguing or fighting between the Lord's siblings.

When my church invited TD Jakes [the notorious false teacher] to speak in the congregation, I stopped going to the church anymore.

I stopped buying his tapes when I realized that he plagiarized from Derek Prince sermons/teachings, this is word for word, pause for pause related stories to fill in and not only DP tape only but others friends of Derek Prince. I can say this with certainty because I got all TDK teaching and preaching. It is with a heavy heart and breaking heart that I am saying this because I love Jakes in the Lord. and Still by the way love TDK and wish him all the best, nevertheless, plagiarism makes him a plagiarizer.

new to listening to him, i really enjoy his preaching. I think that is a big issue with christians who are eithe ultra conservative, in the middle, or loose. I fall in the middle and I like listening to any preacher who gives the gospel. I believe that the holy spirit should make it clear to us if the word and the preacher is of God or not.

Actually 8 is the number of completion.. Its perfectly joined and has no opening or gap in it. 7 is the number of perfection. I watched Derek's teaching on the false church and he explained this. This is why the number of the beast begins with 6 ... Just before 7... A counterfeit, not perfection. Passing away at 88 is beautiful. His life and ministry had reached perfect completion. I confess from my mouth that I Deborah Ellis believe in the Lord and saviour that is jesus christ I am beginning my journey of knowing him and I pray that he keeps me always searching and seeking to know him until the day I encounter him and he dwells in me for eternity. At 20:57 if you believe in Jesus and the Lord has called you to Him, you won't be able to stay quiet about it no matter how hard you try. Believe ME! 😁 I find myself inserting myself in conversations clarifying doubts. If something happens that reminds me of a verse in the Bible I will say it, no matter what the situation is. If the room is simply too quiet I'll start talking about it. It just comes out. Praise the Lord!

His statement is controversial @ 11:36 concerning Simon Peter ; since he doesn't quote the immediate next verse spoken by Jesus @ Matthew 16:19 : "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
Peter is whatsoever given the leadership to open or close the access to the Kingdom of Heaven through the Church. Jesus is the door (John 10:9) ; but the Church leaders have the keys to give access to the Kingdom of God. The Promise being confirmed @ John 21: 15-23.
