@@flordefuentes8611 I read somewhere that he should’ve had make Liam rest his voice and find a way to don’t damage it anymore, etc. So that means to stop touring for a while, which makes sense. Oasis tours where extensive, and every year passed Liam continued to sound weaker and bad. Also Noel should’ve had focus on his song writing and making good material, instead of releasing an album every two years while Liam was resting his voice, if that ever happened.

If anyone listen carefully, it always was that special Liam's singing technique (if any) that shorten the enduring of the typical voice sound of Oasis. Liam always used the gruffing-rough sound in all of his notes and scales. Not only here in Japan, but always in live or studio sessions. No wonder why he couldn't arrive in form by the end of 2002 (after only 8 years of music, I mean, think about other ultra famous bands instead).
Half of the problem was the sound engineering not making Liam loud enough so he had to shout for two hours to hear himself IMO especially from 96 to 98
Mixed feelings on this one. Great Noel solo set which you didn't get in the UK after Earls Court 95 because the press kept blasting him for doing it. Inclusion of Setting Sun is genial. Downside was the removal of All Around The World, Stay Young and (full band) Fade In/Out to cut the length of what had been a two hour plus set. All Around The World especially was epic live and had just come out as a single a few weeks before this gig.
Simon Gooch Liam probably was struggling to sing for almost 2 hours a night, it took a toll on his voice so and he couldn’t sing some might say at this point either
Yeah he gave up on Live Forever at the end as well. I don't know if Dublin @ The Point was in this half of the tour or the year before. Liam's voice gave out during the first night and he didn't appear at all for the second gig. It saw the only live outing of 'Girl In The Dirty Shirt' as a consequence.

he defo can still sing at that point but it's the period where he and the ppl around him shoulda realised it's important to start taking care of his voice.
Liam had a great voice for certain Oasis tunes (RNRS, WTSMG, BIOD, etc) but I always have preferred Noels voice for these songs that really need to have the emotion. Liams voice has more feeling it it now that he's older. Noel still sounds absolutely beautiful.
Love Noel but he should never sing fade in out over Liam!! Unless liams voice wasn't up to it. What a difference a year makes.. from GMEX to this...he couldn't even finish live forever in his usual way. So sad man!
Noel looks like he was not happy at all with his amps and his guitars... It's bad when a amp goes down early in the set, then has issues with tuning, it seemed... I thought a lot of the concert was very flat, the band wasn't on the whole night, some spots of greatness, but also some very ordinary bits too... compare this to the Main road concert, they were red hot that night...
As far as BHN gigs go, this is up there as one of the better ones; the Hammerstein Ballroom gigs in Oct 1997 in NYC were also great. They got a lot better as a live act after they dropped the drugs (and Guigs/Bonehead trade for Gem/Andy worked out far better live). Oasis as a live band got better and better as the years went on.
