Tata Steel | MANSI | A day in the life of a Mansi Sahiyya | Full Version

Over the years, our Maternal and Newborn Survival Initiative, Project MANSI, has seen exemplary instances of women championing for women. A Tata Steel initiative, in collaboration with America India Foundation (AMF) and the National Rural Healthcare Mission, MANSI was conceptualised in 2009 to tackle the high infant mortality rates in the Indian states of Jharkhand and Odisha.
The core focus of the programme is to strengthen rural healthcare systems through a mix of professional training, and the provision of basic medicines and medical facilities. The recent integration of real-time data analysis, to improve response time and case monitoring, has further expanded the programme’s geographical reach. Today, MANSI covers 12 blocks of Jharkhand and Odisha with 2400 Sahiyas or Didis ever ready to attend to the call of a new parent. Watch the video to know more.

हकीकत में भी यही काम करती है ऐसा कार्यकर्ता जब भी सरकार उनकी सुनवाई नहीं करती है अनदेखा कर देते हैं मैं सरकार से निवेदन करता हूं कि कम से कम 15 20 हजार आशा कार्यकर्ता को सैलरी मिलना चाहिए
