- In this follow-up to Part 1 where I concentrated on Warlingham Green, I revisit that area with some new (old!) images and also some from nearby sites.
Thank you for watching, I really appreciate it.

Another fantastic video! Great job Phil, loved it.
Really lovely. Only known Warlingham since the 50s. Not changed too much. Parking on pavements really gets to me, though. Thanks, Phil...must watch Pt 1 now !
Thank you, I think the pavement parking is the only option on some of the older narrow roads but it does mean you have to walk in the road to get past!
Thanks again for going to the trouble of showing me this area. As I said before brings back good memories for me 😊
My pleasure 😊
Fascinating........ghosts from the past!
Great videos and I will definitely be telling my family that live in the area and are keen local history buffs about your channel. It would be nice to see rough dates on the images or a possible date range.
Thanks, yes that’s a great point. I should be able to get that in most cases and may do a “re-edit” in the future 👍🏻
Iously good video so much work to get those shots great work .
Many thanks, Kevin 👍🏻
Brilliant work and so much effort getting the perspectives to match. Interesting to see harrow road stores. I used to get my sweets there as a kid!
Really well done sir.
Cheers mate, it’s a challenge! 😁
Seriously good work here, must’ve taken some effort to get those angles right. I particularly enjoyed the one of The White Lion with no houses in the distance!! Also noted the boundary(?) post outside The Harrow you recently found on a walk and talk. Thanks!
It is a bit challenging but that’s the fun of it really. The lack of houses may be down to the mask I used to highlight the main subject 🫣. The Coal Tax post at the Harrow was an interesting one in that due to the different angles vs modern technology it seems to have moved a few feet - mind you, that may have been necessary when the road was developed - we may never know!
Part of the mystery that keeps it all so interesting!
Really nice... The only significant change is cars......
Did one of the pubs on the green was owned by steve vedor (Some time ago) the wrestler?
Yes! I’d forgotten that but you’ve now reminded me 😃 He was at the White Lion, I think David Price may have been there once and also Brian Bason, both ex-professional footballers
