Mavs were my pick to win it all, and not just because I'm a Mavs fan. We've seen them beat the best teams in the regular season. Dallas isn't the kind of team that will sweep contenders, but they can play good enough to beat anybody 4 out of 7. Then they have Luka who is the most unstoppable force in the NBA on offense, and he's clutch too. Their team chemistry is unrivaled, and Kidd is a great coach for Luka and the Mavs. Add in a scrappy defense and you see that all of the ingredients are present.
Kleber, Finney-Smith and Bullock really are the defensive backbone of that team and all are shooting over 40% from 3! Kleber being the only real big at 6´10 hitting 49% on 5 attempts from 3 is huge and his seal-screens are gold. Bertans gets his minutes next to Kleber because of his bad defense but if he can keep his production up during that short period the Mavs are in a good place.
3:03 Luka pulls Crowder and Paul, Maxi sets a fake screen making it look like a pass to Dinwiddie and causes a switch by Booker who leaves Smith to cover Dinwiddie, DoeDoe in the corner with only Ayden to cover for a wide open 3. What a play.

I'm doing a whole load of hoping ahead of Sunday's game 7 but as Luka said tonight, it's going to be really tough. Need role players to step up on both ends of the floor to have any chance of stealing the game.

Mark Cuban should go out and give Luka a legit 2nd Superstar what would make sure to hang another banner under the roof. He is legit a top 3 player in the NBA and the best guy to build a team around.
Problem is the last GM made some bad contracts that could be hard to move... But I can see us getting in on a 3team deal to help the Lakers get rid of Westbrook. Maybe add THJ, Powell, or Bertans and we get back some assets that could be flipped for a guy like Myles Turner.
