Pam pleeeeeease come back 😭 miss her! She was the sunshine of that dark square! Everyone loves her, she doesn't have a bad bone in her. She makes everyone feel better and happy! She brings people together, like when she brought Jay back from being homeless and back to Ben! She loves Jay, Lola and especially Ben, like family. And she finally brought our #Ballum together properly or at least got Ben to come to his senses even though, in a way, I saw Ben's point... to not want to upset Pam or fearing he'd make her think he'd forgotten Paul! Devil's advocate - I also saw why Callum got upset by being sidelined and ignored... He understood WHY Ben couldn't do anything with him right then and there... But I could understand why he felt so hurt as he worships Ben and felt like it could have been a step back in a relationship that took so long to establish and become something REAL in the first place. Then came that SAINT-LIKE Pam 😍 adored by all, including us viewers, for making sure everyone was happy... Like Ben, who is like a Grandson to her. Has always treated him like he was her TRUE family too, same with Jay... She supported Ben through everything, even after losing Paul. Yeah she took her anger out on Ben at one point after losing Paul... She realised she was just angry in general at losing him and lashed out to the people closest including Les at the Wake (typical in grief). I love Pam and Ben's relationship. She's given Ben the most love, support, and most importantly for Ben... a real, loving family to be part of cos SHE saw how much he loved Paul and made him happy. Pam has seen him during his best, worst, in his most gentle, loving, kind moments and has stuck by him and Jay when no one else did/wanted to know. She saw how they had been mistreated, but especially Ben... and made him feel loved and brought him into her life, her heart, her family and has never stopped supporting him and treating him like everything I said above. She's the kindest, most loving and LOYAL person Ben has EVER had in his life. She gave and still gives him stability and see's the REAL Ben. She wants him of all people, to have the best and happiest life he can have. She saw that Ben had moved on with Callum who she see's as the best person for Ben. She saw at that bar, the REAL situation and because she loves Ben so much? She tells him that he needs to accept that he cannot drive the one thing he needs away... LOVE! Which she see's = Callum! And not even knowing Callum, she see's that he is what Ben needs. I swear she's a good, magical empath and Fairy God/Grandmother lol. So loving, kind, caring and utterly SELFLESS! The Square bloody well needs her back, especially nowadays after Ben losing his hearing and nearly losing EVERYTHING, including Callum! Or just as bright decoration to go to when you feel bad 😂 Wow... Sorry about the rambling 🤣
The fact that Pam was axed as a regular character is a crime. The square could do with a mother-hen figure like her spreading positivity and, most importantly, trying to keep Ben on the straight and narrow as she seems to be the only character he can be his true, sensitive self around.
