I've been listening to this for years, it's such good study music for when I need to focus. I love the sound selection and how rhythmically pleasing everything is. Brilliant creation.
This has to be one of the most unique soundtracks I've ever listened too. Certain parts of the song make you feel somewhat excited in a way, but it's also really good for working at home or doing college work because it immensely helps you concentrate.
There are some of these tracks that just feel like this perfect mix between something Stephan Bodzin would've made, and the Peggle soundtrack. And that's a compliment, because both are awesome.
I think the reason 24:17 Zone 9’s Final Theme has a sense of closure and finality is because it was originally the end of the game (transition to endless mode) before Zone 10 and 11 came out.
My all memories about Smash Hit is the speeding at 6:40 and the falling down at 9:51 though I've reached the final chapter. The OST beat and the game rhythm at the point could pull me out of the reality.

My favs are 9:52, 13:43, 18:57, 22:07 and 26:58. 4:34 sounds like Kahoot and 9:52 reminds me of finally taking off after an eternity. 15:13 the only sad part. 22:07 is heaven's song. 31:13 reminds me of a Mario boss battle when the boss's health goes to half and then it just gets meaner.
When I was a kid I always used to play this game just to listen to the music, and finding it again on TH-cam is really awesome, thank you for uploading the childhood of many of us. Checkpoint 1 is my favorite.
Checkpoint 3 is a big-favorite of mine, the start is a bit upbeat and gives the feeling that you’re gonna have to constantly keep throwing balls if you wanna continue. The theme gives off a chaotic but good vibe, and the rest is just beats to show that you passed the level, but you’re not done.
I also like the music from level 4 (canyon) room 2 and level 8 (brownie (in the game’s files) or fire and ice as I call it ) room 1 (20:01) That transition tho 20:30
In the real life, when i dream, 16:46 makes me feel like this. Failing trough an hole... Lonely and dark... nothing there... feels like you're the last person in the world.
I think the reason 16:15 is that this sound likes it has power now to have passion to finish the game completely before the transition mode came out checkpoint 7,8,9,10,11 and infinity came out.
I like to imagine 5:20 , 20:15 , and 27:10 have the same sort of outer space but like the old concept of space-age like a mix between the Jetsons and present day (Idk what to call it otherwise). Maybe a bit less so as well, but, 29:20 as well as, 9:00 (zones 2-1, 8-1, 10-3, 11-2, 3-2) sorta works too

Tbh , i was thinking of a concept of Checkpoint 12 , of it changing directions and a new power up that rewinds time which would be hard to get and rare to find.
I have known this game since i was 4 years old and that was nearly a decade ago now. I loved every bit of this game and i find it devastating that the creators abandoned such a great game. The music is so calming and relaxing to listen to. the game isn't intense and its just easing and fun. I miss being a innocent little child.

The transitions between tracks of the checkpoints go together so well, they sound like one long track than multiple tracks.

Each level is trial made by the protectors of the universe, to enter, you must pass their trials to show your worth to all 11 (not including endless)
