You’re a star who is so easy to listen to while I stitch. And, yes, you’re also an enabler. 😅 Definitely the Brenda Gervais! I do Christmas in July so I have less stress in December. I’m stitching ornaments all month for family. ❤ Happy stitching, friend.
Love visiting with you Anna… you are the Rock Star of Stitch Roadies…and Quilting Roadies… it is in my quilting world where Christmas in July resonated… have started projects, participated in classes or go on a shop hop for Christmas themed ‘to do’s’ 🚙🪡 🇺🇸. Enjoy your next adventure of the summer 😉
Anna, I so enjoy listening to your flosstube. I was born and raised in Woodburn, Oregon but live in Kansas City, Mo now. Your stories and pictures make my soul stir with memories and feelings for “ home”. My oldest daughter and family moved back to Salem and now. I have a reason to travel back. I will be coming in for the Sisters Quilt show next week …my daughter is showing two of her original designed quilts! You will see that she loves stars! Then we will be visiting Acorns and threads for my crossstitch needs, and the quilt store at Cannon Beach..another favorite of both of us. Hope to see you roaming around in Sisters on Friday or Saturday. Thanks for your relaxing chit chat. You seem like an old friend!
Anna, you never fail to entertain me on a regular basis! Star quality is your forte! I always find something to giggle about w/your cute stories! Thanks for all the 'talks' and inspiration!!
Star ⭐️ I am doing this mystery now! Love Fat Quarter Shop with the fabrics and cross stitch and all I will be headed to bankruptcy court 😂😜. Thanks a bunch Anna!!
Hello! Loved the vid! My daughter and I were recently in Sisters OR. Such a beautiful wee town. Charming and full of fun shops. I told her all about the quilt show and we visited the Stitch’n Post. Great experience! I vote Brenda Gervais! She is a STAR designer. I have many of her patterns. Hugs from California!
Hi anna, thanks for another video. I can never remember where iI put things. You always make me laugh, we are kindred spirits. lol I loved the opening photo of the duck. I have a pond on my property as well but it is full of bullfrogs and painted turtles. Fat quarter shops star of wonder is so pretty. I would like to make that quilt. Have a great week, Happy stitching.
Oh, your garden is so lovely - peaceful - relaxing.... Wish I could stop watching you and Alex A. so much and try to finish some of my MANY whips and get My Back Room more organized. Am 92+ but maybe someday.
Have a great time at the quilt show! I don't generally stitch Christmas in July, I tend to stitch seasonally but I like the box for sure. and the Star of Wonder should be fun!
Hi Anna, I SO enjoyed today’s Flosstube. I had to hit the rewind button, multiple times, to be certain of what I was hearing…D cup and A cup and perkiness absolutely got me to stop multitasking (I’m kitting up a new stitch). I’m participating in Christmas in July for the first time; FQS Star of (my first SAL!), the Primrose Cottage Stitches 2024 Snowman and a Winter Sampler. My vote is for Brenda Gervais. I LOVED your garden tour, but not quite as much as my pup, Cooper🤣 he literally jumped up on my craft table to get a better view🐶🐾❤️ Have a happy and safe 4th of July❤️🤍💙
Anna, you are a rock star in flosstube and quilting world. I have moved frames etc from place to place. Still trying to find a better spot. You have encouraged me to read more. Have a wonderful time in Sisters. Hope to get there someday.
Hi happy 4th thanks for being on today I love the 2nd crosstich and you are the star of crosstich and quilting from Indiana love your back yard just lovely
⭐ Star⭐I love the Brenda Gervis project!!! I so enjoyed your video... the perky pin keep was funny!!! Your garden yard are amazing 😊 Thank you for entertaining and enabling me ❤
Your a star at the 2 handed stitching. Enjoy your time at Sisters and your “tree” class, I’m sure it will be just as fantastic as your other “trees “. OMG 😆 such a laugh on the pincushion “d or a” 😂. I vote for the O Tannenbaum stitch. Your back yard looks like a great oasis.
I’m working on that Teresa Kogut piece, too, Anna!🇺🇸 It’s a big project, for sure! Loving seeing some other floss tube friends showing their finishes of ‘Land That I Love’!
Another great visit with a star of Flosstube! Thank you for showing us your garden - it's gorgeous and inviting. I'd like to see you make some progress on your Christmas Quaker this month. I hope you are having a great week!
So glad that you found a way which works well for you with your Lowry stand. You are so correct about tools not working the same for everyone and every circumstance. The Paris piece will be like a mini postcard! Oh my stars! You cracked me up about the peacock pin cushion :)! My favorite fabric is 36 count linen and yes, it does help with the size sometimes :). I have been doing two handed stitching for decades. Of course practice will help, but I also suggest, if you aren't already, putting your dominant hand on the bottom and un-dominant hand on top. Since you are more used to finely controlling your dominant hand, it is easier if it is hidden than if your non-dominant hand is hidden. Watching you stitch, I also suggest tightening the fabric. You don't have to be able to bounce a dime, but having it taunt seems to help me with coming up from the bottom side. I do not usually purposefully do Christmas in July but I do randomly work on Christmas ornaments or gifts when I'm in the mood (ha ha!). I am more pulled to the box of little Christmas smalls - mostly because I would enjoy celebrating each finish and maybe you would even finish the one you have begun. The Quaker one seems more like some time as a dedicated stitch would be needed - and maybe not until it's finished, give it a month at a time - it's so large and daunting! Happy stitching - enjoy your lovely garden!
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday! You might be worried about your convoluted stories, but I come back for them. You are a star and I love all your videos. I have been your fan before you even started your quilt videos. For your stitching, I think the Brenda Gervais piece would be best. The fabric is smaller (if you’re thinking of your week being when you are at Quilters Affair) and the Quakers seem like they would require more brain concentration. Good luck with your decision.
I enjoy your flosstube so much! I hope you give yourself a star every time you share one with us. I would love to see you stitch the Christmas Quaker in July. I stitch Christmas anytime of the year. In fact I’m working on a stocking now, for our newest grandson. He’s due on Thanksgiving day! Happy 4th and happy stitching!
You are a cross stitch star, and I love seeing what you do. I'm voting for O Tannenbaum for your Christmas stitch. I came across a project I have a small start on, so I might work on it for Christmas in July this year. I'm going to see my grands first of August, and it's been 3 years, so I can't imagine the changes that I'll see. I understand all those wonderful stories so well.
You are the star of your own show. Stitch however and what you want. You are an enabler so be happy about that. O Tannenbaum. This is the first year I’m doing Christmas in July and enjoying it.
As always, great projects. I vote for Oh Tannenbaum. Your garden is pretty, love the little creek in back. I always look up to see a star, it means a loved one that has passed is watching over you. Marilyn
Christmas Quaker is my choice for you to stitch. On my list of you tube videos to watch, your 2 videos have the biggest star. Backyard is stunning, how do you have time to stitch, the maintenance of it must be time consuming. Thank you for sharing your life and stitching with us. Also enjoy all the books.
I so enjoy your videos. It is a visit with a friend. Your garden is beautiful. I would love to sit out in it and watch the first star of the night come out.
Love your chats! I never done a stitching for a Christmas in July, but I love both of stitching you picked, the one for the box my favorite. Enabling I enjoy. I watch your quilt roadies and your stitching too, I just have a wonderful time listening and watching you. I decided watching you today I’m going to get on the band wagon with the star stitch along. Already ordered the floss and the needle minder for it. While watching you today. Thanks for all you do hun, Have a safe wonderful 4th July.
Anna, you are a rock star! You do not “babble”!! I love listening to your videos. I even get lots of giggles out of them!! I’ll be doing PNWSS via Zoom, and I’ll miss you!!😊
Hi Anna, I like the old Tannebaum stitch for your designated Christmas in July. And you are a star of wonder…just saying😊. Your yard is beautiful, a little oasis.
Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸. Love your babbling … I was kept company while painting my first Paisleys and Polka Dots patriotic finishing piece and you kept me highly motivated. I can’t wait to finally finish my project before the fireworks have ended. You are a rock STAR in this community! My choice for you would be the Brenda Gervais …. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden 🪴.
You’re the star, Anna! Always watch your videos as soon as they come out. You have some story telling talent. Have a great summer with all your activities.
I love your book of days and all of your "stars". I do two-handed stitching. It comes more naturally than the other option and a whole lot faster. I found that it didn't take all that long to get used to..........no learning curve. I vote for Brenda's piece!!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL garden. I'd be plunking a chair right out next to that babbling water feature with a good book or some hand work and a cuppa tea and not want to leave till the first snowflake showed up. Blessings to you and G.
What a star you are Anna! I love to spend time with you and am with you on the A cup pincushions haha! I am excited for the Star of Wonder quilt releases too! I am closing in on a finish this Christmas for Christmas Quaker II I hope - it has taken me such a long time - many years! - but it's incredibly beautiful so I vote for that one!!
Hey there beautiful lady. I enjoyed this video. I’m so drawn to ur stitching stand. I would never b able to do something’s that large. I use a John James Twin Pointed Quick Stick Needles. U use both ends of the needle. It makes my life a lot easier. Have u ever used them ? U r my Star of Wonder. Happy stitching. 🪡❤️
I think Christmas Quaker 2 would be my Christmas in July Stitch, in one week of evening stitching you could make a lot of progress. They are both wonderful projects. Next month I hope you will get a STAR in your book of days. I have never tried stitching with two hands, I’ve always just used a hoop. Your garden is beautiful, I love listening to the sound of the water and birds. Thanks for sharing your time!
In case you haven't already realized this, by stitching on Star of Wonder you are doing a Christmas stitch. 🎄 I ordered my supplies for the Star of Wonder SAL the other day, they'll be here in the next few days. Can't wait to get started on it. As for your Christmas WIPs, I think you should continue on the Quaker Christmas. Also, I love your long babbles. It's like listening to a friend.. I hope your week at Sister's is a good one. Can't wait to hear all about it.
Anna, I loved this video and I love all of them. I don’t see you as an enabler, we are all responsible for ourselves. Remember a while ago you said ‘No one is the boss of you’ so…. Even though there seems to be a lot of work in the Quakers Christmas II, it is my choice . It’s beautiful. What a great space your garden is. Enjoy the 4th of July celebrations. 🇦🇺
Loved the visit today. I am sure your garden is the star of the neighborhood. I like your idea of taking one week in July for Christmas in July stitching. I think I will do that. O Tannenbaum in the box is my favorite.
I am a 2 handed stitcher. It is much faster and I am an impatient stitcher. I really love the peacock pin cushion and am glad you will be starting it soon. Looking forward to seeing your progress. You're a star ❤
You are my star and have really encouraged me in my cross stitching. I have only been at it for just over a year. I also started my first Mill Hill ornament, I had to watch a video first. Oh well that’s how I learn.
Happy Fourth of July. We are without power because a storm took out a neighbor's tree. No TV today. Thank goodness for utube. I think you need another star on your book of days because your garden is fabulous! Have a great Holiday!
Thank you Anna for your delightful entertainment and kindness! You are a Star! And thank you Fat Quarter Shop for their generosity! Loved the Sisters Quilt Show when I had the chance to go …have a Fabulous week!
A lovely garden! Give yourself a star! Christmas stitching is not one of my favorites and I surely don’t celebrate it in July, but I love a Quaker so that is my choice.
Christmas in July, definitely the second stitch. I loved the idea of the box when you got it, and think it will look gorgeous displayed on a shelf or bench at Christmas.
I like the second one that goes in the box best for your Stitching in July :)
Your always our star sticker in our book....so happy watching you....please take care and be safe
You’re a star who is so easy to listen to while I stitch. And, yes, you’re also an enabler. 😅 Definitely the Brenda Gervais! I do Christmas in July so I have less stress in December. I’m stitching ornaments all month for family. ❤ Happy stitching, friend.
