From someone who's played through both 360 and One versions of this game, I have to say Sumo Digital really made this version stand out between the other one that I deem them different games rather than ports. Honesty I prefer this version's free choice of choosing tracks instead of being forced to go through three areas in a set.
While not as seamless of an experience I think Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox 360 is an incredible achievement for the system and a wonderful port even today with good visuals and most of the look, feel, and scope of the original intact. Amazing for a console from 2005 with 256 mb of ram.
Its not a port as both are straight up made in different engines, also no, it doesnt preserve "most" of that stuff you mentioned from h2 xbox one, it preserves a quite small portion of it actually Grid 2 is a much better example of an incredible achievement for the Xbox 360

They very much weren’t ready for a project like this. For what we got, it’s alright. But for them, it’s probably one of the more remarkable things they’ve accomplished.
I used to play this masterpiece on my Xbox 360 S on 2015 i was 5 years old at the time now i am 12. this is the best racing game ever made every time i see the first gameplay (The Lamboghini one) the intro the music the gameplay the loading screen everything about this game is just perfect thank you for letting me feel like i am in a dream again i just wanted to play this again on my sofa while eating some pizza the most sad part about this is that the servers are down just when i got my hands on a 360 with the game again i lost all my 4 years save data. but you wanna know what was the biggest dumb decision i ever made? Sell my old 360 i regret it to this day. all the savedata the games Just gone but at least i can relive some games that i could download again again thanks for experience i love the video

Because Horizon 2 on 360 was using the Horizon 1 engine thats why it looked same like the 1st Horizon even some of assets are straightly reused from FH1 while Xbox one version was using the Motorsport 5 engine
Is there a mini game in fh2 where you have a spaceship (just a triangle really) that shoots asteroids? I remember playing this on a racing game for the xbox 360 but can't remember the right game. I remember there were tons of signs with the word "kudos" in the game as well. Any that remembers?

Yea I really hate how most of FH2's races are locked behind road trips and championships.
