We as humans often use substances (doesn’t always have to be drugs) to get a high that numbs the pain and makes us forget about our problems. Then when we come down from our highs we start to come to terms with our problems, creating a vicious cycle
Rival and Soul Extract are the only two new music artists I truly enjoy. something about these two stands out from the crowd and I don't know how to properly describe it but it's almost like they belong in games.

So damn relatable and it's deep, not just another song on depression written by someone who understands nothing of what its really like. Look at the lyrics... "Guided by spiritual, life's been unusual", "I'm swimming in a wave of sounds, and every melody is an ocean" and "When reality won't keep me sane, I gotta go where they don't know my name." Keep it up man, I follow your music regularly, Where You Are is great among your recent ones.. and I don't need to tell you you're underrated, you know what you are, that's enough. Just keeping making music. Be your own rival!
