Well, I feel worried for the Battle Royale seasons made in UEFN, we might end up like STW. Edit: dont forget yearly chapters, they ruin the game and is killing BR and dumping it into STW. I hope epic listen to these community responses on why tim sweeny's pet yearly chapters is the worst system and game tradition because they make the game boring and focusing on next year's chapter, yearly chapters is also the reason why chapter 4's updates arent good, same with its summer escape event.
Currently Epic uses Unreal Engine (Their own very powerful and complex Game Engine) to make content for Battle Royale. But starting from 2025, they'll make new seasons using UEFN which is basically just a simpler version of Unreal Engine. I think a lot of people are worried because: a) a lot of UEFN made Creative Maps aren't exactly of the best quality (which has nothing to do with the tools and more to do with people being lazy and greedy). b) UEFN doesn't have all the features of Unreal Engine so it may mean we won't see certain kinds of content like new Bosses or Features (Though a year is a lot of time, they may add the ability to make these things in UEFN before then) c) UEFN can be a bit buggy so there may be more glitches. But the point of switching to UEFN is to help make UEFN and BR better so we'll see what really happens.
Im not glad how this all going… too much coming content for uefn creators etc, but personally think that Fortnite lost its personality and the br/zb players
Someone once told me back in chapter 1 of fortnite that fortnite is basically the cheap walmart of other games, where they just take ideas from every other game and make it cheaper. And the more I look at this stuff the more I realize that guy was absolutely right.
@HamoDy466 meh I think it just saturated fortnite. I think most people I know prefer the OG fortnite days, before the game sold it's soul for money to all the 100s of collabs. Having so many different things in the game dilutes the objective of playing it imo, and while Epic games does do a good job of balancing that many things in one place, I think it's still not as fun as the original basis for the game
@@strappedshrapnel4972I feel like the collabs and crossovers such as the new modes and stuff brought a lot of new players into the game, I met a lot of people who started back in either chapter 2 or 3 and I feel like a lot of people would've not touched the game so much if the game was still like chapter 1, The stuff Fortnite is doing right now is pretty creative and It's real fun to see all of these different crossovers because they make Fortnite even more fun to play in my opinion. Also Donald Mustard shared on his tweet that they've been planning on doing these new game modes and crossovers since 2017 which shows that this game wasn't going to stay as either a battle royale or zombie game, it was going to become a bigger platform for a lot of people to play over the years. so yeah, this is the future of Fortnite
@@strappedshrapnel4972 the original can get boring if it stayed unchanged, thats how 99% of games evolved to be either a better game or a worse game in Fortnite's case it's definitely much better than before with so many choices and modes to play, there are so many players from different games came to try Fortnite's newest modes like: Minecraft players coming to see Lego Fortnite, Forza or any racing game players came to try rocket racing. If you want to see what i mean change your perspective on the game to see that the game has gone into the right path
@@HamoDy466 I can see the point you're making. I personally don't agree with the game getting boring without all the collabs, I think it would've been enough for me to have just a new map every other season or something. But I probably don't have the same mindset as most of the playerbase, and they have to play to the majority of their audience.

Yes, Fortnite seasons will truly lose to Season Fart tycoon and Season Toilet Box fights
@@Quintapion😂😂😂
UEFN isn't a bad tool, it can just be used lazily. I don't know what they use to make maps right now but it's probably similar to UEFN.
@@Koopkiris they use unreal engine 5
@@Koopkiris the normal unreal engine, I guess.
Can anyone please tell me what will happen to the Nintendo switch players and what graphics will they get

I'm a bit dumb so can someone explain what's gonna change in BR with UEFN and why's people assuming that it6a bad decision?
