bruh, im rewatching this and im actually astounded how big of a foul these judges missed after the restart in round 1. genadi pressed devon with judges' hands still being on his.
Agreed maybe there needs to be a replay thing like in football...so you can go back to presses and watch for fouls in slow motion or something..genadis clearly raised his elbow in that first round when devon was about to pin him and then the first genadis pin was a total false start...lol
Absolutely outrageous. Before literally every round the referee is pushing Devon's shoulder back and pulling his hand down, yet doesn't do a thing about Genadi's shoulder or all his false starts. Devon won. This referee should never be allowed to ref a professional match again and a rematch must happen.
actually these fouls were vastly different. there is a thin called "gaining advantage". Gena didn't get any advantage from letting his elbow up and down for a fraction of a second so this is legally considered as an nonconsequential accident. Devon on the other hand let his elbow up and moved it to much more advantageous position so this can't be considered nonconsequential accident by any means. judges are completely legally right here.
I was thinking the same firstly. But look when they switched: the situation looks opposite. That's because camera stay perpendicular to the table but both athletes are turned a little bit.

@@rcmunro22both of them were cheating. Devon of course in the setup took everything in the first round, then bad call for the elbow foul. @@cratos900 Yes Devon was even more rested, but he wasn't stronger and was given crappy start positions. This match has nothing to do with endurance, yes both of them are built like brick houses, so they're going to sweat just from arguing let alone armwrestling, but Genadi won simply because of strength and better start position. Literally the amount of times the ref tried to make Devon have a perfect shoulder position, yet for like half the match Genadi was allowed to have his shoulder where ever he wanted with no checks, this is why it's obvious that the match had nothing to do with Endurance.
Round 4 shows what happens if Devon doesn't get his usual advantage at the start. He would never get that high if all referees would trat him like this - simply fair and equal with opponent, so that they both get a fair position and no advantage at the start.. Exactly if this ref is lenient with Genadi he should be as well to Devon it should be 3-0 in favor of Devon, and forgot to say that a false start from Genadi gave him his advantage
Genadi lifted the elbow which by itself isn't necessarily a foul..you can find several instances where that wasn't called on Devon either..going outside the pad even for a split second is a foul.. Absolutely outrageous. Before literally every round the referee is pushing Devon's shoulder back and pulling his hand down, yet doesn't do a thing about Genadi's shoulder or all his false starts. Devon won. This referee should never be allowed to ref a professional match again and a rematch must happen.
@@alexg5189in Devon's second pin and genadis 3rd Devon's shoulders aren't even close to being square, wtf are you talking sbout
actually these fouls were vastly different. there is a thin called "gaining advantage". Gena didn't get any advantage from letting his elbow up and down for a fraction of a second so this is legally considered as an nonconsequential accident.
Devon on the other hand let his elbow up and moved it to much more advantageous position so this can't be considered nonconsequential accident by any means.
