    I remember well the old Algoma Company Store. As you walk up to the steps, just to the right before climbing the stairs was Dr. Bennett's old office in the forties. People would wait outside for his office to open, and I was diagnosed with Chicken Pox just before you enter...he did not permit me inside. I still recall him jamming his key in the lock and saying those dreaded words, "Chicken Pox." He put clamps in a gash in my leg in his office...no anesthesia. Thanks for the tour.

    That is so neat my mom is the one who signed Janie in the bowling alley years ago that is were she grew up

    Do you know anything on Hobie Young, a known rum runner moonshiner who died in 1940 off Tank Hill. Lived in McDowell. Song after him The BALLOT OF HOBIE YOUNG.

    The last house was mine we moved 4 years ago it was my moms and dads house they pasted away it was a nice house until a bunch of dope heads decided to go in there and mess it up I still go down there from time to time trying to get our stuff out before it gets tore down
