What a beautiful car.. I also like the combination of the blue velours seats with the wood trims

Beautiful design. Great harmony with the integration of the bumpers and the body make it very seamless. Back then it was a breakthrough in design. Today it’s the norm.

That review is just plain bad. Why did you pick the one with deep blue seating? You could have gone for leather or a black textile interior. And why 2.4 v6 whilst 2.8 v6 is basically the same engine with practically the same fuel consumption but much sweeter torque and acceleration. And a real audi isn't FWD, you don't even have a sunroof with this...

Theodor Butters I got lucky and got one for 600€, 2.4 v6, sunroof but no leather seats(cost around 150-200€), the parts are pretty cheap actually, definetly get the 2.8, it has same fuel consumption as 2.4 but a much sweeter acceleration and if possible get quattro, adds only a liter or two but if you have snow during winter its worth it. BUT DONT TAKE THE AUTOMATIC, its crap.

that's a good price...im still looking for a first car for anywhere between 1000-2000€.until I get my drivers license im practicing on a Volov 360 gle from 1993.
Why would the automatic be crap?Sorry,im a noob at cars so...

Theodor Butters Not all of them are crap, but most of the older Audi tiptronics have seen such wear that they will probably fail soon and it costs more than the car to repair(2k-3k), not many people repair automatics either, they just replace it or send it somewhere. Manual is much much more durable and fun to drive anyway and the only thing that usually "breaks" is the clutch, which depends on your driving skills but can last over ten years and costs around 100-150€+work.

Theodor Butters Also if you're still considering A6, it depends where you live, what country. It is a good car but do not take 2.5 TDI, if you drive a lot. They require massive repairs every 250k(have to change the camshafts). All other engines are good, i would recommend either 2.8 or 1.9 TDI, 2.4 is good too actually and 1.8 turbo is pretty economical. If you have really bad roads then i don't recommend on getting this car, since you would have to replace front control arms every few years (I live in estonia and roads are VERY bad here, like lunar) and theres 8 in total in the front. But it's also really comfortable to drive and is way ahead of time. Parts from Poland are very cheap too.
