Not releasing Capitano now, because they don't want to cut his power, kinda doesn't make sense. Mavuika defeated him in his pre-current state (current state = dead) in fight, which means she's probably stronger than him. But Hoyo released Mavuika, sooo yeah...
@@tobiasradmacher she's probably not stronger though. Not sure if you did the 5.3, but he was severely nerfed due to his condition during the fight with her
@@pajomk I did the archon quest. But I stay with my statement. Yes, his condition nerfed him in fight with Mavuika. If it wasn't for his condition his strength would be equal or higher than Mavuika's. But there're 2 points to make: 1. Mavuika didn't used her full strength either in her fight against Capitano as she said in the archon quest in patch 5.1. 2. My statement was, that "not releasing Capitano now, because they don't want to cut his power, kinda doesn't make sense", because Mavuika "is stronger" and also got released. Mavuika won the fight. At the moment of the fight, she was stronger than Capitano. It doesn't matter, if he was nerfed by his condition or not. Making him a playable character wouldn't magically cure him. He would still have his condition, which makes him "weaker" than Mavuika. :)
Dude they released mavuika because they can't release her in later patches they have to release the archon in their corresponding patches like nahida in 3.x along with the release of sumeru and furina in 4.x with fontain. But releasing Capitano in the 5.x patches would be dumb cuz we don't know anything about him apart from him being from khanrieah. So yea him releasing in 6.x patches is sensible. And mavuika defeated him in lore and we are talking about his power in in-game
@@tobiasradmacher he would not have the souls inside him anymore. And he didn't exactly lose. He was clearly getting ready to keep fighting, but when he was given the chance, he backed out. But not because of the injury itself. Mavuika hit him directly on the heart and he had to protect it because the souls were there.
@@ImGoingToScream1 it absolutely would? His story is not over, Natlan is not over either, his files indicate he will be playable (sword listed as skillobj, round avatar named "male sword" and a rectangular icon was discovered), Tsaritsa is keeping his spot open, he has symbolism that heavily references Jesus, Capitano's sticker released, there is one missing character from the usual 17 if we count released characters and upcoming ones (they can't market him as playable or they would spoil their quests), his English va suddenly stopped talking about it despite the fact that he was giving out signatures with Mavuika's VA (probably signed an NDA and wouldn't want to accidentally give away Capitano's future)

Bro the captain was holding back
Bro capitano is dead
He's not
@@pajomk Uh..whatever you say.
@@ImGoingToScream1 he's still breathing and his soul is out there. There is also a LOT of signs he will be playable or at least coming back
@@pajomk but it would make no sense for him to suddenly come back, he is ''dead'' in a way.
