I have the same problem with the charge blade and dual blades. A few years ago i played dual blades & i cant remember how i did that. Tried it with a HR glavenus yesterday and it was a nightmare.
When I first fought her I found it really hard just because I wasn't used to her rhythm. But every fight is like a dance, you just have to read your partner 😂

I tried using the switch axe after watching you but man i can't click with it like i did with the longsword props to you bud

That is so true! Yesterday i just watched rathian and moved as much as is must, not more & not less. Was fun & it was a smooth fight.
