Whistler Summit - Oil Landscape (real time)

We just returned from Whistler, BC in Canada. It is a town at the base of a sprawling resort area covering two mountains with gondolas up to their respective peaks. We rode the Whistler gondola up and walked around in the snow. This is the view as we exited the lift.
I painted alla prima in oil on unstretched gessoed canvas. I used linseed oil to dilute the paint when needed. This video is in real time with the inactive bits edited out. My painting is a bit pinker than the original scene. I am happy with it overall.

@@kathleenwing1590 this is my first attempt at a snow scene. I’m surprised by how much I like the result. If you look closely it’s just blobs of paint but from a distance it looks pretty good. I’ll do more snow paintings.
