10 years ago I was homeless. Putting needles in my arm and killing my self. I went to the San Diego rescue mission, now I have my own house with two beautiful daughters. I’m still so angry and ungrateful. I have a friend from the rescue mission who doesn’t have near the fortune I do. Yet he is happier than I can ever hope to be. I’m tired of being so mad all the time. Today I realized I was happier when I was in the mission with nothing to my name. I had everything when I had Jesus. Please pray for me to realize the blessings I have are from him and not mine.

The kid is actually his son, so that really works with the idea. We are all children lost in a field somewhere, doing our own thing, but God is always there, right behind us is case we need Him. He will let us fall, because children need to fall to learn how to get back up, but He is there all the same.

In August I went to a Christian Camp and we would always sing this song. When I got back I would always sing it. It didn’t matter where, when, how or why but I would ALWAYS sing it. A year back I found myself running away from God's love. I was tired of the whole thing call "church". I wanted to do my own thing, followed my own path, make my own decisions. I found myself broken, lost in darkess. But His love never left me. Running away from home, lost in my own ways, He chased me and dragged me back to His way. It wasn't easy but just knowing that He left the 99 just for me made me run in to His arms and never again run away from Him.

Love this version, his worship is so pure. God left the 99 for ME, it didn't matter how much I had sinned, or what I had done, He wanted me back. I hated Him, I ran from Him, I denied Him, and He still wanted me. He lifted the obsession of alcoholism from me and saved me from myself. God's love is so reckless and humbling, he gave and still gives all he has for us. If you're reading this and suffering from addiction, please please know that God loves you and Jesus died for you too! God knows everything you've done, he knows your heart, and he just wants to love you and wants you to come home with the rest of us. He'll leave the 99 for you too, bringing one sinner that repents home will always be worth it ❤️

My friend died of covid last week. He inspired me to turn to God again because during his long hard fight he never lost his faith and willpower. Romans 8:35, 37-39. Nothing you do, or have done, or will do, will ever separate you from His love. His mercy. His grace. Capo on 4 with these chords is fine. But I'd love to play the actual (no-capo) chord fingerings that he's doing. They sound really good and open. Can anyone please help me with that? I've tried seeing exactly what he's doing on the video but can't.

This is one of my favorite songs currently and a much-needed reminder of the love of God in all times, especially the difficult times!

Try to be more gratefull for everything that God has done especially in the difficult time that we've been through nowadays, so that we can still live these hard times.
