What is ASMR?
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that usually begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
ASMR signifies the subjective experience of “low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin.” It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.
Love your book videos! I'm not much into manga either, but I recommend Princess Jellyfish. That was the first one I ever read, and it's a josei manga about a group of otaku girls surrounding the shy protagonist Tsukimi, who grieves the death of her mother and meets a cross-dressing guy who gradually helps her become more outgoing. The later volumes turn a bit silly, but overall I'd say it's a charming coming-of-age story, and with nine volumes it's not too overwhelming in scope.
Nana is one I would also still like to read. Same goes for Amanda Morell's books.
I'm currently making my way through Robin Hobb's Farseer trilogy - finally - and it's an absolute delight.
I could listen to you talk about theories forever! It was really interesting and you explain it easily. I also thought Me Before You should be a standalone. I read the end and was like NO WAY am I reading a sequel! T.T
Awesome video ❤❤
happy pride month 😽
