I'm guessing you guys wear all black and can't wear camo because you're press, but you should really chose another color like grey or ranger green. At least break the all black up with other subdued colors. Black sticks out like a sore thumb even at night with night vision. Maybe you already know this.
I have a strong opinion that we should send American mercenaries paid by America. I see it as a way to help the fight and not escalate. It's what Russia did, but I don't know the technicality in this. I just want more support for Ukraine.

There is an alternative to trenches if one uses bots, even simple low cost ones. BTW, I made a few videos on that and uploaded them to my TH-cam channel that goes into this idea in more detail.
