@clubdu In case they do get out by accident (not that we give them the possibility) people can quickly see they have a home and also where their home is without a chip scanner. And don't worry about the choking, the collars have an auto release function if (little) pressure is applied.
We have two Brits who do not go outside and do not have collars on them, so wondering why you have collars on your cats? What if the collar got caught on something and they chocked when you were not at home?
Cat collars spoil the fur around the cat's neck, especially on British Shorthair cats. If the cat in NO WAY goes outside, collars should be taken off on an indoor cat. Cat collars with bells attached can affect a cat's well-being. Can you imagine moving around with a bell ringing all the time around your neck?? Just a couple of points on cat collars. These two cats are beautiful. I have a Silver Tipped British Shorthair Cat. Her fur is like fresh fallen snow....she is so beautiful - no collar - lol.
I hate to see collars on cats!! British Shorthairs and Persian Cats particularly. Collars spoil the fur around the neck. My Shorthairs never wear them. Cats are so much more comfortable without them anyway. Get your cat chipped. Never loose a British Shorthairs out if they can get to outside their home, as they are sooooo beautiful, someone else may take them!! I've had the delightful company of cats in my life for 45 years!!
They look like professional working cats for commercials and movies.

British short hair cars are the most mellow cats I have ever seen. Makes them that much cuter.

Omg so cute! And such coincidence, we used to have a British Shorthair and she was called Biru too!
Your silver one looks just like mine - only mine is around 12 years old. They do have the gentlest natures.
fantastic! We are expecting 2 of them as well in a weeks time..
