The RF900 has a 16-valve, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine that produces 125 horsepower @ 12,000 rpm and they use a steel beam frame, and this was a departure from the alloy frames used in other Suzuki sports bikes and only weighs 203 kg, which is lighter than its appearance suggests. These MOVE!!!
Watching this video just makes me miss my old RF900RW (green/grey), the only mod I did (bloody 5spd box) was 1tooth up front/2 teeth down rear sprockets, which helped 'Relax' the feel of the motor on mtorway/high speed cruising runs. Such a fantastically underrated bike.. 😏👌 😎🇬🇧
Very nice, well done mate!😁👍 Perfect Ferrari Testarossa color, looks & sounds really great, love it as well all stock! I have a slightly different taste though concerning the color, as I think the uni color schemes seem a little bland compared to the multi color later ones (although I sympathize with your Ferrari lookalike scheme). My favorite color scheme is the one my vintage, still under 10,000 miles stock RF900R: Purple, yellow and grey. These Suzuki color scheme involving multi colors are just a masterpiece of design, as far as I'm concerned. I posted you 2 years ago for the first time when I bought my RF with only a bit over 5,000 miles from the first owner. Ever since I've been keeping very good care of it, keeping it perfectly serviced & polished. It's presently taking it's winter sleep on my underground garage parking space. I still did not manage to surpass my 2023 speed record, on a straight & flat stretch of German Autobahn on a warm & sunny summer day of real 162 mph (173 mph speedometer). Only stock change on my RF is a touring wind shield, as the original is practically useless at German Autobahn speeds 😉 I love the RF900R, my forever favorite & in my view most beautiful bike ever!
Gorgeous. So glad you are keeping this channel alive with the RF content. I sold my red '95, the platform just doesn't suit my riding style, but I still like watching! Keep it up.
FAB JOB! I've got a red one also. To break the red up I've sprayed the fairing fins dark grey, fitted red handlebar ends and a red rear hugger, they are fantastic bikes and go like the wind!
@Adikxx I have a confession - I took 2 1/2 years to rebuild and paint my 900. I used to post about it in the FB group: it was written off in July because I crashed it. I had a medical episode whilst riding to work. It was beautiful to ride and seeing this fine beast....I miss it!
@@m2895 oh man what a loss.. i feel your pain as i know how much it is to rebuild the bike. Most important is your health though, bike can always be bought again.
@@Adikxx I recall when these were released and everyone in Australia thought they were just a tourer. I test rode one and I have to say it hauled!!!!!!!!!!! Highly under rated and you can pick these up for peanuts but they are far far better than anyone can imagine! These SMOKE a VFR800 Honda! Nice bike. Congratulations.

That is a fine motorbike. I came very close ro getting one but bought a carbed Blackbird instead. An underrated bike in its time too I think.
Blackbird is an icon today, especially the early carbed model. Story goes they make more power :)

Wow! it looks amazing. I have a 1996RF900 RS2 original but nowhere near the condition of yours. I’m totally envious.

Great save. If you have the space you could just keep it as a running collector's item. It deserves a good home and I think yours is just right.
