What impressed me the most is that when people do this challenge, they mostly just have snacks and sweets, while she actually had a whole meal and ate healthy.

Black chicken is used very often in Chinese cuisine! It's more expensive and usually used in more "herbal" recipes 💕 it tastes mostly the same but we don't deep fry it or anyth, mostly just soups hehe

Black chicken is considered a health food as a chinese. We usually cook it with herbs, this black chicken soup is supposed to “replenish blood” or 补血. It’s considered really good for women especially after their menstruation cycle.
And oh no Tina, the black chicken is supposed to be eaten with the soup.
I saved the soup for the next day 😊
Libra Tude well I’m not really sure how different the black chicken from regular chicken is because in China we do make chicken soup quite similarly with regular chicken. For herbs they are Chinese herbs like herbal ingredient rather than if you are from the us stuff like oregano. Well I guess for Chinese food being salty it would depend what kind of food your eating like Chinese American food(the stuff you find in the us that’s like fried and in chains) isn’t real Chinese food. Authentic Chinese food varies by region but I would say most Chinese food in China is not very salty because we use a lot of different spices rather than just salt but that varies by region and what you find salty.
I don't know if black chicken is healthier but I have several silkies and they are where the black chicken meat comes from. Their skin is black which is why the meat is black
@@libratude9595 actually not all chinese food are spicy. If you are referring to china chinese food, different regions of food can be more to the spicier/saltier side. But generally chinese food in countries like malaysia and singapore are wayyyy different

I liked this video bc Tina mentioned the coffee reminding her of her culture. I really appreciate ppl retaining things from their culture and sharing them with the masses. If I ever make it to Vietnam, I will definitely try the coffee!
It is actually the same way in my family and I imagine it is common in most multi-cultural families too! My family is half-German half-British and our food and home items reflects that. For instance, we eat a lot of salami, German dumplings (which is made from either potatoes or bread depending) known as Knödel and Schnitzel as well as a lot of British food (which is far easier to come by since we live in the UK). Personally, I have never lived in Germany, but my mum and brother have and it feels like a substantial and significant part of my heritage so these little things are so important to me.

We have a blackberry tree in our backyard. The berries she was eating grow on trees. Maybe they're called sth else.
Just googled, they're called blackberries. They're just grown on trees and bushes both. Hope this helped.
Actually the tree was probably a mulberry tree. They resemble a blackberry.
Yes, in Asia we do have Mulberry tree and the fruits looks almost like blackberries.
@@danumukti9808 thats exactly what I think she had in Croatia we call it Murva/Dud and it has this elongated shape and the black ones are usually more tart than the white ones so it maybe was Mulberry

You should! It is very condensed flavor compared to an iced latte. Instead of milk/cream and sugar, sweetened condensed milk is used. It can be sold for $3 or less in California

You can eat the black rice with yogurt and sugar, like a desert. It's really famous in Vietnam, called " Sữa chua nếp cẩm"
Black chicken soup is my favorite soup! Next time if you want to make the easier version just buy some dehydrated red dates, slice a few pieces ginger and goji berries. Put them all in the pot with the chicken and cook for 2 hours is more than enough.
I have learned so much about black food from this video, black chicken (china), grapes (Japan/Taiwan), coffee ( Vietnam)
