Interesting to note that floral scent kills slimelungs in the air, so, if you don't have any allergic dupe you can use some plants to prevent the spread of it
It doesn't exactly kill it. Every material occupying a single tile can only store one type of germ at the time and would share germs with the surrounding tiles with the same type of materials (gas, or liquid) that don't have any germs. When you dig out the slime, it starts to offgas, creating polluted oxygen with germs. If the surrounding gasses don't contain any other type of germs or contain the same type, it will share the germs with the other gas tiles. If they have another type of germs, the type that has more germs takes the place of the smaller type, deleting it.
There is a shower type machine in the DLC that apparently cures rad upon using it, but I'm so clueless on how rads work atm to explore it, but Thanks a lot, prior to this video I simply got thru most games by curing the areas rather than the dudes because I didn't quite understand the medical buildings, that said, now I can more effectively manage the dupes when I have long term fixes of these diseases that aren't critical to handle immediately
The decontamination shower is probably meant to protect against radioactive contaminants, but they just aren't really a problem, so to be honest I don't see it having a practical use in the game as it is.
@@ihyaakmal5995 I can't quite remember what I meant but if its slime lung the disease is in the air so use the building that purifies polluted oxygen to normal oxygen altho the better method is, depending on the difficulty you're playing, is to just use the polluted oxygen, esp early game, if you're on the highest difficulty, it's better to get rid of it because it will contribute to the stress you already have by being on the highest difficulty.
As far as I get it, Sink and Shower don't care how much food poisoning germs are in the water they use. They'll take germs from dupes and transfer them to the water, adding up the amount. Unless... the water is infected by another type of germ before being used? Never tested the outcome. For example, can I clear dupes from zombie spores by using sink with the water full of food poisoning germs or not? I'm also curious if the Sink can be overpowered by the number of germs on the dupe, leaving dupe unclean afterward. For example, if he stepped inside germy water pool before using the Sink.
The "Frost Bite" debuff is missing, which will kill dupes just as heat stroke. Don't know yet if the frost immune are also immune against frost bite, but I suppose I'll find out soon...
Yes, that didn't exist when this video was made but added with the Frosty Planet Pack DLC. I don't believe the frost resistant trait stops cold damage, just the slowing debuff.
I suppose so, aa moat dupes end up with quite high athletics and the skills they are best at anyway. But it's still really difficult to even infect dupes at all.

That's not correct. Only one germ can occupy a square. They don't kill each other at all.

@@GCFungusi'm late to the party but i found that atmosuits showers can clean all germs off the suit (slimelung and food poisoning)
