This is a beautiful song. I think Jackie is showing a lot of promise in this song particularly. I remember hearing her song " Have you ever been in love" and many others during that time. I was wondering where did all that talent go. Yes " Both Sides Now " was excellent. Now I see another one ,this one that will reestablish her standing as an excellent singer. No the talent did not leave her, it just changed into something different and equally good. Congrats Jackie.
Struggle is real, nothing worse than batlling your own mind not knowing who or what is what or who u are,and at such young age it can be devastating, but in spite all of that she did manage to stay relatively herself and keep composure.
She should consider a side project where she sings songs in the style of Delain, Nightwish, Epica, and Within Temptation. I can imagine her performing "Masters of Reality" - it would be mind-blowing!
She recorded/performed "Memories" by Within Temptation at age 14: th-cam.com/video/lm4znAEeBPo/w-d-xo.html Jackie is creating her own style with this song she wrote and composed along with 4 other originals for an EP that will come out in 2024

Hate the synthesizer, I wish she used the warmth she has in her voice in this song, in the higher parts you can hear some of her “classical voice” hiding back there, but I think she could sing this exact same song with her classical tone voice and it would sound a lot better in my opinion.
She wrote and composed this song in the alternative/indie pop genre, to express the feeling of losing ones mind....a very personal message....not meant to showcase her vocal prowess. It is also a danceable song, called a "banger". Here is her live performance with acoustic guitar accompaniment: th-cam.com/video/vr0Vfg5SW3I/w-d-xo.html

Read her lyrics for "Darkness Keeps Chasing Me". Very parallel lives and issues. I love you Jackie .. be well and be happy.
She was not "thrust into the limelight" but chose to be there, and the "family backdrop" had nothing to do with her being deeply troubled. Don't make inferences based on mis-information.
