This is an ERA's tour which is a tour that should be for the die hard FANS of Taylor who have been supporting her for a long time throughout her career. I understand there are new swifties recently but it sucks when scalpers and random lucky people were able to score a ticket over FANS. It seemed like anyone and everyone got a verified fan invitation to buy presales. Verified Fans should've been those who purchase previous concert tickets/merchandise and music/ streamed her music frequently etc. No one should have to waste a whole day to try and buy tickets to a presale they got invited to thinking they were not at war with millions of bots. Happy you got a ticket but it seems like the process was not rewarding and was up to pure luck. Fans either bought in a panic buy or was left with nothing. The Eras tour , the tour that should've been for fans first. Praying that we unlucky fans aren't left behind
I lucked TF out and got tickets, don't even know how, but I've had faith this whole time that she'd say something as soon as she could and she now has, I TRULY believe with all my heart she's trying to figure something out to get as many fans there as possible!!!!
First of all, this is gatekeeping. Many FANS weren't able to see her every time she went on tour. Some new fans might be 10 year olds, etc. The "new fans" aren't the problem, it's bots and scalpers so how about you sit down. If bots and scalpers hadn't gotten to the tickets, then EVERYONE would still be able to see her, regardless of how long they've been a fan and that is a nasty and mean way to talk about people. If her fanbase never grew over time, you wouldn't get all the content from her that you get today.
as a newer swiftie who luckily got tickets, this sounds like gate keeping. just because some people weren’t here for every era or weren’t able to buy a bunch of merch shouldn’t make them ineligible to buy tickets.

I agree Ticketmaster is The Problem!! What I a truly upset with is the bots getting the tickets when verified fans and those who got wait listed couldn’t.
I secured my floor and VIP tickets, but I waited 5 hours in the queue, and my code didn't work at first. I love that Taylor said something and that she has our back. No one cares about their fans more than her, and she will fight for the fans who didn't receive tickets this time around!
I have been so disappointed in people trying to say this was all her fault, she can't just drop everything and risk her entire career to make a statement and I've had faith all along she'd say something as soon as she could! SHE was the one who wanted tickets to get into fans hands and to further that, into Lover Fest tickets buyer's hands, she's dedicated so much to us as her fan base and is literally going to be on the road for MONTHS so we could see her (she even doubled her dates when she found out how many people were dying to go). I've been a fan since she started and I've always respected her and thought she's such a genuine soul and it's so sad seeing people trash her over Ticketmaster's HUGE mistake! The ONLY part she had in it was the dynamic pricing and honestly I can understand why she'd want that, most fans are going to be willing to pay more for tickets and I can see how she might think it would dissuade resellers from purchasing tickets at ridiculous prices to resell, people are saying she's money hungry but I truly don't think so, she deserves to be paid for her work and I truly think it was a tactic to try to help us Swifties! I'm so happy for you that you've got tickets, I've got mine too and I'm BEYOND excited to support my favorite artist of all time but I am devastated at how this all turned out and how many fans might miss the tour because Ticketmaster dropped the ball! I just hope everyone realizes sooner or later that it wasn't her fault and I'm still hoping she's got something up her sleeve like a Lover Fest ticket holder only sale of the remaining tickets or getting the tickets being resold back into the hands of Swifties but who knows if she's even legally allowed to do any of that...
I thankfully got 2 floor seats (At face value) after waiting in the queue for over 4 hours, I’ve tried year after year to get tickets to her tours and have never been able to get tickets until now (amazingly). I’m extremely excited to finally see Taylor live but I feel terrible for all the other fans who couldn’t get a single ticket…

totally agree 10,000% with you, I liked all the songs from debut and fearless BUT I became a full-on fan BECAUSE of her personality, for me now is her personality1st and her music is an added bonus. Man, I do miss the "my space" video vlogs they were hilarious!!!!!
I was in the queue for 6 hours and was a verified fan and still came away with nothing and I'm in a wheelchair so it's even harder for me to get tickets than normal. I hope maybe she will take one of the performances and maybe put it on Netflix because that's the only way some of us will have a prayer to see it.... I have been a fan of Taylor since she was opening for Tim McGraw and never missed a show until now. My fear is that even if you buy it on a resale site what is to say that there are tickets that are real and that you're going to get to go in. Because the only thing more heartbreaking than what has already happened is thinking that you're going to go and then it's taken away from you and then you're out tons of money as well. I had tickets to lover fest and was told by ticketmaster that lover fest fans were going to get priority and we got nothing.
I honestly feel so bad about having tickets. Like there were 3 of us fighting tooth and nail for over 8 hours and at least 2 of us have been Swifties since debut but we didn't have Lover Fest tickets, this was honestly my first time even trying to go to one of her shows and I'm so beyond grateful I got tickets but there are so many fans that might not be able to go and I feel guilty that people with boosts didn't even get codes and stuff...it's so conflicting and feels terrible, I go from being so happy I'm crying to almost crying when I think of all the broken hearts this mess has caused. I would have sold my soul to go to this show, like I said I've never been and when she announced it was eras I knew I had to go, but I know there are so many others who would have done ANYTHING to get tickets and didn't even get the chance.

If Taylor wanted her fans to get tickets then she would organise a presale for her fans which would require them to purchase the vinyl album using credit card in store which would give them a unique QR code inside then they would line up at a venue school football stadium which id to prove they live in that state to purchase tickets to her show in that state only.
There were definitely some fan hate in Reddit and I was trying to be a voice of reason over there. Don’t be quick to jump to negative intent right away. 2016 should’ve been a lesson for fans out there. There’s nothing wrong with criticizing her. But she has shown herself as a person already that she wouldn’t intentionally do this to her fans. The money grubbers here is the monopoly controlling the system.
The only saddest thing is that I really want to see her live this is the only chance that I really want to see her live. The reason why is because after The Reputation Stadium Tour I really wanted to see her so badly. I don't see how she could expand the tour for 2023 because football regular season starts Sep. Also, 52 shows are like so much already & she hasn't even listed the international dates yet. Ticket master gave presale codes to football season ticket holders. They were allowed to purchase tickets during the capital one presale. No wonder there were not enough tickets for the public sale. Reputation tour total tickets sales were 2. 8 million. Ticket master sold 2.4 million on verified presale. Whatever was left, they sold on capitol one presale. Whatever they have left, they do not consider it worth their time. They probably sold 3 million tickets. Now they will move on like nothing was their fault. It was Taylor, because she is just too popular! Sadly she will have to deal with them for international dates! I hope she can find a way to make the experience better for fans! I am an OG fan from debut and this is not going to turn away from Taylor. I am a fan for life. I couldn't even try because I am in Canada.
