Watching just before bed so commenting before I drop to sleep, but looving this, it's making me feel festive and I so badly want that eos set! I got the vanilla cashmere after seeing how much you liked it and it's soooo good 🤌🤌
Omg yayyyy! I’m so happy you like it!! The Vanilla Cashmere still reigns supreme but the Peppermint Cashmere is a great variation of it for the winter. ❄️
I can't believe Christmas is rolling around again🎄The most wonderful time of the year✨️My family n l were at Radio City Music Hall n seen the Rocketts Christmas show years ago n it was "Amazing"My must- haves during the holidays is spending as much time as l can with my family❤
The eos lotion looks so cute!! ✨️🤩 I know it's unrelated to this video but I watched one of your videos where you talked about a mouth guard helping with not chewing the insides of your cheeks - is that still working for you? I wear a mouth guard at night because I grind my teeth and I've tried wearing it during the day to stop me from chewing the insides of my cheeks, BUT I AM STILL ABLE TO DO IT 😭 I've been trying to break this habit for soo long and it's just so hard to stop because it also happens without me realizing I'm doing it. 🥺 Thank you for posting so regularly; your content is really uplifting ♥️✨️
First off, I hope that above all you are proud of yourself for taking measures to work on disarming this habit! ❤️ I find that I will still (often without realizing like you said) repeat the motion of trying to bite my lips and inner lips as if I am doing it just without success. Like, my mouth just does what it needs to do but the damage isn't happening so that's a step in the right direction. This is often when I'm in the middle of a longer activity like deskwork, walking on the treadmill etc. Then there are times when I have straight up taken the mouth guard out bc I can't resist the urge to bite/chew. That's when I have to remember to show grace to myself and take time to think about what is triggering this action. 9/10 times it's a distressing thought/memory/what if. It doesn't even have to be something big, it can be like "I have to start making dinner in 20 mins and idk what to make" and that kicks off the bfrb. I also find that certain physical motions trigger the urge; specifically if I look down to do something like write or do my nails. Thirdly, I've recently noticed that I feel the urge/nervousness with transitions between environments or even activities. For example, if I'm in the car going from point A to B, if I'm leaving one room to go to another, or starting a new activity. I feel the need to bite to soothe myself until I am settled into my new location and/or activity. This is when I find the mouth guard to be MOST helpful. I've gotten to the point where I am aware that I'm in a scenario where the chewing is likely to happen but am super relieved to know that all I have to do is pop my mouth guard in to help and then be more aware of (almost internally narrating) what my next step is and remind myself that this can be a calm transition. I'm obv not a professional so please don't take my words as bible, but I recently came across this article and found it to be helpful in understanding my own behaviors. I had to read it slow bc the verbiage felt like a lot to digest (it wasn't an easy read so I just took it line by line). www.bfrb.org/articles/awakening-from-the-trance I hope that at least some of this was helpful. I'm always here - you're not alone in this. I know for a fact that it IS possible to break these types of habits bc I've done it successfully for years with the insides of my cheeks. You just gotta give yourself the space and grace to take a step back, learn from yourself and remember that progress, not perfection, is the goal. And if you have a slip up, just think of it this way: if you were walking and fell down one stair but caught yourself, you wouldn't throw yourself down the rest of the stairs just bc you slipped on the one, right? You'd get up, dust yourself off and continue to walk down the rest of the stairs. You've got this. ❤️
@@glasshalffullasmr Thank you so much for taking the time to reply in such detail, it means a lot to me! ♥I even got a little teary-eyed while reading lol, but you're so right - I have to be patient with myself and remember that bad days do not erase the progress I have made so far. The stairs analogy is great! Also, I think it's so awesome that you were able to identify what triggers your urges (even the little things like walking into another room or starting a new activity - I would have never thought of that myself, but from now on I'm going to observe more closely when the urges arise.) Thanks again for being so vulnerable and and sharing your experience, it is much appreciated! ♥
Of course. Thank you for trusting me enough to reach out. I don't ever want anyone to feel alone for any reason and if I can use my experiences to help someone or at least prove to them they're not the only one going through something then I'm going to make sure I do it. ❤️
Thanks again for the lovely video Nicole 🥰❤️ I'm wondering, is the only reason for not permanently moving back to New York your husbands work or are there maybe other reasons? You don't have to answer if you don't feel comfortable ❤️😘
Thank you mama for being so kind! My husband and I both miss parts of living back in NY for sure but beyond any shadow of a doubt we know we are meant to live near Disney World. It is literally our dream come true. Plus, my husband still works for Disney and wants to for the rest of his professional career. I always tell people who ask that if Disney wasn't in Florida we wouldn't be here (no offense FL but you are a literal crazy swamp lolol) but the benefits outweigh everything else. 🏰✨
your videos feel to me like catching up with an auntie or an older cousin who is always relatable and understanding :,)
