Great video, I got my invoice from Kit this morning. Disappointed to hear of the issues, but the magnets I've dealt with for the other figures. Glad InArt is moving away from them
My only problem with the pole is the hole doesn't line up with the suit. To use mine I have to pull the suit down and I'm afraid I'm going to tear the suit just to get it in the hole.
Great figure this Superman. The clothes look high quality and the sculpting is wonderful. I like it overall, although I would have preferred if the head and neck had been in one piece. Great review. Regards Graeme.
Really good review, Graeme! The flight pole design looks excellent. It's a major deterrent to get this if you can't easily swap-out the cape. That's a big QC issue.
Yeah I use crotch grabbers because the magnets just aren't good enough. It also depends if you have kids, pets and on the flooring etc. but that could've been fixed with a fully magnetized base(?). Curious to see what the Legolas will have considering it doesn't have the magnetic base anymore. Nice review of the Superman, I have the HT black suit but I have to say the INART one has it beat by a landslide tbh.
Oh man, I managed to snag my own recently from Japan so waiting for mine. This is my favorite superman suit design as well as cavill being my fave supes. Though ideally I would've liked to see the justice league colors, think this suit works best in those classic vibrant colors, the black suit is a close second and the BVS comes in third. still nervous about possibly getting issues with mine as well, one would think that at this price point QC issues shouldn't be so prominent, but i guess i'll find out soon enough! thanks for sharing!
Got my notice my is supposed to ship in 3 weeks so thanks for the video while I'm waiting.. I have multiple Hot Toys Henry but I needed the Best looking out there great video
The suit is very sticky on mine as well. Both plastic shields peeled off the screen printing. His crotch also came with a piece stuck together. I also got the cape stuck and thought it was going to break either the cape or the suit getting it out
I was pulling harder than I wanted to on that cape. I got to the point where it just wasn't worth having a fully damaged figure. It sucks, but oh well. I do worry about the suit over time, but we will see. Thanks for watching!
@@thejediknightswatchI switched the cape once and decided it’s not worth doing again. I opted to put the drape cape back and just leave it. I’m too lazy to constantly futz with the wires anyways. The pieces of suit around the slots are so fragile as well.
The likeness is excellent, bordering on perfection to my eyes. The suit and physique also look great. My only nitpicks are the unsightly line at the base of the back of the head. I hope the head slots further down the neck because the neck looks really long, moreso when the chin isn't tucked down. Perhaps video footage exaggerates this as it does the size of the Inart Joker's head. Overall though this looks fantastic and another win for Inart. It's so much better than Hot Toys. It'll be interesting to see what Hot Toys does next with this character, be it another Christopher Reeve or Henry Cavill.
@@mcguzman5398 I use moducases! I have a link in the description of the video. My marvel and dc figures are in sixth series cases and my Star Wars are in DF120’s. I also have monos which are detolf like.
The video is great of you. the quality of the figure too. Did I understand that correctly, you really see Henry Cavill in the inart head??? But not in the black HT Superman? is that right?
@@dari.collector thanks for the kind words. I see a resemblance of Cavill in the HT sculpt but I think the Inart is def better. As it should be since it’s a brand new sculpt.
How did you have so many complaints on a better figure than hot toys overall ? Baffles me how hard people can be on details… I love the figure I own many hot toys it beats all of them…
@@DantesInfernoCollectibles I never said it wasn’t better than the hot toys version… But dont kid yourself, this figure isn’t perfect. And it’s a big problem when I can’t get the cape off and I feel like I’m going to break the figure swapping the hands.
Thanks for the review, I never owned Inart figure, nor seen one. my question for you is does Inart figure really worth the extra price compared to HT figure? does really feel better made when in hand?
Great Questions my friend. I think thats why I'm a bit let down. While it looks amazing. I don't see the value of paying so much for it. Especially when HT has proven they can do the same quality when they really want.
Those magnets were Justin's idea. Clearly, he has no idea about practicality because the entire base is overengineered. Like you were saying, having a large magnet (or magnet in the feet and having a larger piece of metal in the base) would work way better.
I’m assuming you’re not part of the influencer crowd that gets free stuff from Inart because this video is an actual review, unlike the slobbering kiss fest I saw from Justin Collectibles, Jedha, and Dean Knight.
