I read in one review of the ikea website in my country (in Europe) that it stinks of plastic when cooking.
Did you have that experience? Maybe in the beginning?

I did not experience any plastic odor during usage. However on some pots, I do hear high pitched whine that's common among induction cooktops.

The lowest power level it allows to set is 60 watts. You'll need to check if that is enough or too much for your application.
