In my opinion this dude balanced his singing and dancing on stage perfectly.He doesn't dance too much to the extent that he gets tired and he struggles to breath and hit his notes.
He also sang his verses without the original vocals and no miming.
The BET awards used to be so dope because there was a sense of mystique to these ppls lives. Seeing them on the red carpet was fire back then. Now we literally follow them on a daily. Award shows in general lost their essence because there’s no exclusivity to the artist any more. My times were the best and if you weren’t there for it then I’m sorry lol. I never seen it this way. Now that you say it I agree. We used to be glued to the TV when these award shows came on. I always knew now that these award didn't feel the same anymore, but just didn't understand why. Thank you.

You know what’s so ironic about Usher is that he came up in an era where everyone was great!! Usher’s only competition we’re women. There was no men on his level of artistry besides MJ and maybe R.Kelly in terms of mainstream success. Usher sat with other elites Brandy, Monica, Aaliyah, Destiny’s Child, Mya etc. Usher has that overall star factor which makes him the best male performer of his generation & the king of R&b in my opinion. He has the look, the moves, the sound, & the reputation. Beyond the music, he carries himself like a true gentleman. You rarely hear anything negative about him and that speaks volumes. For him to have a career last over 25yrs and yet he still remains a class act. He’s well decorated, sold millions, diamond album, Grammys. Come on now! Put some respect on Usher’s name! 🙌🏽👏🏽👑
