- He's finally here! Potemkin not Strive Slayer, of course. Another long time coming video but I hope it's of use and a fun watch. Investing time into a character is a lot of fun and I hope this gives this character more perspective even if it is from a monke Slayer player like me.

i bought plus r today to complete my collection of the big 3 GG games (i was on a pirated version before this) and while i was getting my shit kicked in via the crisp ass rollback, it just crossed my mind to come back and leave a comment to say thank you
guilty gear, with its mainline games (all 3 i actually really like strive!), music, characters and story, is probably one of my favourite media franchises of all time, and your work has been essential in helping me find it :)

@@LucidButtonMasher And the other new moves, yeah. It was just harder to pin those to a specific part of Pot's suit, so I couldn't figure out how to work them into the joke.
Strive potemkin is just braindead ass char for skill issues. He lands 2 command grab or does 214h pressure. GAME IS OVER. strive pot is def high tier. Ive never seen a grappler with that dmg and plus frame. Space control

It's such a good clip
as someone who dabbled in XRD PRE-ROLLBACK, got frustrated after 60 hours of bad netcode and sucking at the game and quit, then got into Strive, I absolutely love these guide videos because I don't want to play the older games enough to get all this info but god it is so wild to see how much better a lot of moves were back then. I view this less as a play-guide and more as a report on the characters as well as fucking hilarious.

I remember playing him as Vs mode with Stylish mode. Almost beat shit out of most cast in manic mode. Looking at him now. I didn't knew how much cool stuff you can do with him. Also fought him in online. Didn't mind losing against him as may because of damage. Even acpr compared to kliff and justice.

Potemkin probably has the best System Voice lines in this game next to Elphelt. Both of them are very motivational and make me feel better about the fact I suck at Xrd compared to Strive.

she's definitely a wack character with her weird combos and moves, but theres just something so satisfying about her gameplan. idk if it's just because of how new i am, but ram is just so rewarding to my primal urge to beat the shit out of things while laughing like the joker

Lloyd only because zero and azure are masterpieces. Estelle is a VERY close second. Rean is uh...a bit further down haha

6k loop dependency is why I vastly prefer playing Pot in Strive than Xrd.
You say it's unnecessary, but it's so necessary for him to do this if you want to be semi competent and it's so damn hard to do consistently.
It's a big part of his plan to do lots of damage but even doing 6k trish 6k trish is miles easier and not much less damage
Could you talk about Granblue and funny Vas armor, or maybe Jam to this extent? Or not, that's fine too.

If it's pc and you have the rollback update, make sure to go to player lobbies and not the world lobby

@10:37 I wanna say due to the camera shift of the 5D hit Potempkin might have just been invulnerable while the super was out, and then the active frames went away. I don't know off hand if 5D's work that way but thats my assumption

I really don’t understand the point in obstructing the gameplay with being in front of a green screen like some sort of weatherman, especially with how you’re all over the place. Seems like a strange choice for gaming content in general
Fair opinion, but people were complaining when i put subtitles in a non obscure place so i figured i may as well go full hog. I guess just ignore me as I'm mostly away from the action
I personally appreciate putting more effort in having some visual identity, it's something that's unfortunately lacking in FGC content
