Wow Cindy! What a delightful haul. I WISH we had old book shops or book sales near us. The ones anywhere near within a day's traveling are very pricey. I pick up books when I can always looking for ones that I think I can bear to dismantle, but I have a really difficult time. Somewhere in the deep, dark recesses of my mind, I think I must singlehandedly save all the old books I bring home. Ridiculous, I know. Thanks for sharing your haul.

I have the same issue on dismantling the book when I get home. Save them all, ha, I think the same thing. These are from my towns library sale so maybe look for one near you. The sale is only once a year though. Thanks for watching!

I am not a German speaking person, however, I think the book with the drowning people is a book about the Johnstown Flood in Maryland/Virginia? I would have to look it up but I think that is what it says on the first chapter
