Hi! Could I get pretty similar or working results trying this method on a black canvas? I'd like to make one for a raffle for charity event for Extra Life this year. Friend throws a yearly Halloween party I can do this for. Thanks!

I really like the misty quality of it. I think I will try it with an accent tree with an orangey red color leaves, just for something different.
I like that this tutorial wasn't obnoxious.

I may try this technique and then also add some glowing fireflies I think that would be gorgeous

Yes, water is basically all you need. Later you can begin to use like 'Floaide' that will keep your canvas wet. Acrylics are great :D.
