LOVE this National Park. And saw a tortoise in the wild while hiking last time we were in the park.

You guys always have the best camping set ups and meals... I’ve had many good memories in Joshua tree, nice to see it not overrun with people :)

Lol eating too good! Definitely getting back in the gym soon! It wasn’t too busy, but I try to keep other people out of the video when possible - so it looks less busy than it really is. I was surprised that where we were in Hidden Valley climbing that rock - we had the place to ourselves and no one else came back there.

We went last weekend, 12/3. Same campground and same noisy neighbors. There should be campgrounds for 55+ folks 🤣. Overall, a positive experience.

Lol - I don’t remember referencing that in the video, but we did have noisy neighbors. We had worse than that at Jalama Beach. (but we still enjoyed the trip). We actually left a day early. I think we’re pretty easing going, but we don’t go camping to get drunk and obnoxious. Sounds like we would enjoy you guys as camping neighbors! Thanks for watching and commenting. I have several other camping videos you might enjoy (including Jalama Beach).

You can boondock just outside the park on BLM land also. It can be just as crowded as the campgrounds tho. With the Jeep you can get down the rougher road away from everyone in the vans. Really have to be aware of rodents chewing your vehicle wires at the place you stayed. We learned that keeping your hood up helps cool the engine bay making it less hospitable to the lil rats!

O man the rats are that bad?🤔

We had reservations. I don’t know if they have any walk ins. We arrived on a Sunday around check in time - which is 12:00.
